Ugh...the BD has got me bad today.......had such grand plans but they've all gone awry!! Not flying related but how in the world do you ever get over someone that you still love?! Its been 6 months and just when i think i'm ok suddenly i'm not. Must pull myself together!! I did manage to blitz the kitchen and go shopping so it wasn't all a wasted day. Just feel really tired and drained. Early night i think and will all seem better tomorrow. Sorry to go on. xx

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!
    Level One
    Level Two
Clear the top of at least 1 cupboard, wipe it down and make it look nice!
    Done
    Level Three

Wipe over paintwork and window sills
    Done
Clear out the bedside units.. or the place you stash all your 'stuff'
Done mine – Mr LW can do his own (I'm not that brave!)
    Extras

    1. Dust and deweb Done

    Friday ~ Childrens/spare rooms
    Level One
The most important task first.. make time for yourself.. a haircut, manicure, or just a relaxing bath in peace! I think this may have to be deferred to Friday evening; Mr LW is meeting a friend in Northampton (in a pub) and I'm hoping to get out of going with him. Tale is.... friend's BIL was supposed to refurbish some chairs for us. He's had them over 2 years and done nothing with them, so we've asked him to return them; meeting is to collect them, because I don't want him coming to our place.
    Level Two
    Level Three
Binbag Dance.. fling those broken things and empty packaging! Done; we should get a refuse collection tomorrow; I hope so, as we'll have one black rubbish sack and three pink recycling sacks to go!
Wash windows and sills, and curtains and blinds! Sill done; no blinds, curtains deferred til doors finished.
    Extras
    1. Dust all the light fittings Done as best I can manage with the lambswool-onna-stick
ETA Nattyt I don't know the answer, but have a (((HUG))) to be going on with.

Well done :T I need to do that too, so:
    • where do I get a compressed air thingy?
    • which bits to I remove to strip down the PC?
    Thanks muchly :D

I got my compressed air from Wilkinson's (obviously;))
    Dippypud wrote: »
    1) Compressed Air is available on eB@y in aerosol type cans, or from some office supplier type shops.

    2) Open one of the large sides of the PC, (if you look at the back of the machine it's not the side near all the plug in bits).

Have fun and if you think you can't or shouldn't then don't. ;)
so I 'happened' to choose the right side to open by accident. What I SHOULD have done, as I discovered during re-assembly. was take off the front, unclip the side away friom the plugs and it would have been even quicker. As it happened I ended up with both sides off - but much dusting and wiping means they are clean. Clearly ther is a 'radiaotr' type area, cooled by a fan. If the 'radiator' type area gets dusty the PC can't keep cool. But this is guesswork -never occurred to me to check on line! I just got out a screwdriver and started unscrewing!
It was so noisy it used to disturb DD, in bed.:(

I've done loads today, I'll post properly shortly.

I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon trying to find some possible wedding venues. We have a couple of ideas but until we decide on the ceremony we can't do anything else. I think trying to do it within 6 months may be madness but we shall see, it will all depend on the venues we pick.
My SIL managed it :) the church they wanted only had one slot in the year they wanted, so they had a date 6 months earlier than they originally planned. And my brother was away in Brazil when she committed to the date too :) but we didn't think he'd mind... I can get hold of her spreadsheets for you if you want...

End of year review done. I don't think my boss likes me anymore... :p

Nattyt, you're not going on so don't apologise! It's really hard to get over someone you really loved but the old saying time heals is true. The feelings may not go completely (I still think about someone from 21 years ago :o) and 6 months is really not long ago. Just try to enjoy being single and maybe when you least expect it you'll find love again. That's certainly what happened in my case. Big hugs ((((( Nattyt ))))).

Off topic, DS swallowed the tail off a sugar mouse about 30 mins ago. It was about 1.5 inches long. He seems perfectly well in himself so am hoping it just 'passes through' over the next day or so. Little tinker!

Nattyt huge hugs sweetie, read your own signature, things will get better I promise you but nobody can say when.

ajmoney - we got engaged on a Good Friday (mid April) and married the end of that September, so 4 1/2 months. It was oodles of time, no I wasn't expecting just the thought of planning a wedding and my Mother's involvement for 18 months was more stress than I could handle. That was full church, sit down for about 100 plus evening disco, cars, cake, dress, flowers the lot.

Just doing the last of the cards and that will be christmas done.
