    Re Breadmakers
I've a Panasonic, and use it pretty much once a day. If it's HM bread, it tends to get gobbled up :) We've got supermarket bread (the Polish type that tastes of something) in the freezer, bought at 5p a loaf, but the HM wins hands down. I would get another one straight away if it died. I love experementing with recipes in it, and seem to have produced the most amazing things! If I had the chance, I would probably go for a wood-fired clay oven, out in our back-yard..... but that's stretching it a bit! (I do love Italian bread though!)

I think that's a lovely idea, but then, my DS1 "gave me away" when DH and I married. (he was 15 and totally thrilled to be asked to do it) I think it shows closeness. Have you spoken to your DD1 and DS1?
ETA If my DH and I had a child with each other (which, unfortunately, isn't going to happen.... he's had the op) I would ask all four of our children to be god parents.

not yet I think I should run it past oh first

Oh Valli, what a lovely thing to say!!! You should have seen the flat and the area around it before I started Flylady. I was down and out!!! I should have taken before and after shots..... in fact, I think I will regarding certain rooms so I can check progress. Flylady has not only "given me permission" to declutter other people's stuff, but it's made me more assertive, in that, I feel as if I'm doing something important for my family rather than MIL's (who own the flat atm and are used to getting their own way... long story) if I'm unsure about anything, I ask for an opinion here, and am able to know I'm not being neurotic!! You guys have been a huge help! xx

ETA FL also helps me retain my sense of humour regarding all the strange finds etc. It's now become rather a joke between DH and I :) x

Me too, DH mutters about making me one, and we have the plans somewhere.

Jo, I never used mine but it was a cheap one and the bread came out like lead. It was useful for making dough but I do that in the kenwood now. Have you got worktop space free for it? In your costings remember you can make pizza dough, pitta breads, naan bread, lardy cake....

Everything is ready for the morning, apart from me and I don't want to go . Still no car back so I have to borrow the teenagers pound shop pimpmobile.

Bit stiff today and I needed to be ok for early evening so not a huge amount done from the list, scraped through the dailes.

Argh! I don't even know where to start at the moment!!!! I have a poorly boy so not been able to do anything during the day except wash sicky clothes and sheets! I have mounds of washing - some dirty some just needs to dry and the rest just needs ironing and putting away. I can never seem to keep on top the washing - Pigpen how do you manage with your brood? I only have three and can't cope with the washing!

With sickers the washing goes in immediately and bedding is hung over doors to dry.

I colour code washing, black, grey, green, blue, red, white, not quite white, pale and pink. summer is great.. washed, on line to dry, folded and away. In winter I utilise airers, radiators and the TD. Heavy stuff goes on rads. Woolies and stuff that most people would iron (cotton shirts eg.) go on hangers or airers until dry, everything else goes in the dryer. I can do maybe 6 loads of laundry each day in winter and around 14 max in summer. I try to fold ASAP when dry so it doesn't get too crinkly.. but since we had miss monsterchops we have worn crinkles!!!! Very stylish ones at that!

I don't allow excess clothing either.. enough for 1 week off school with clean pj's and clothes every day is more than enough it is so much easier to keep on top of when you know they only have 7 days worth of clothes plus it works better for storing them! it also means they get good quality clothing rather than huge amounts of cheap crap.
