been getting sidetracked and I forgot it takes me longer to catch up just now - also I noticed the lovely asbo had caught up for me with the newbies so I didnt need to do that either - thanks honey:A

pigpen Glad LO is better today. everytime you talk aboutr attacking your debts you inspire me to do a bit more - thank you (((hugs))) re the godparents I think its a lovely idea as i am sure if anything was to happen to you or OH then your eldest 2 would give her all the love she needs and her auntie will be the older steadying influence in her life - an excellent choice:D

welcome to the thread raggydoll not sure about the 'adult conversation' :rotfl:
mazzeratti well done with the new job - hopefully its a step towards something better:T
hello lemanie I was wondering where you were:Dxx

    WTG!!
artchoke - you will be in good company with Pen-Pen:D
Oh dear, I must apologise for the weird whiny noise from Crafty Corner earlier - even I wanted to slap me when I re-read it.:o
oooooh Aunty i was getting a bit worried after i read your other post - maybe you needed to get it out of your system - this weather is getting to lots of people - you need to start thinking about a new project - if i remember rightly you did mention things you wanted to do this year - and what about the studying - are you doing any? I am sending you a huge squishy (((((((HUG))))))) because if I could i would be there in a shot to give you one today.

arwenelf welcome to the thread - even if you can manage to post once a week and tell us how you are doing that would be nice - dont worry about keeping up with the thread - its totally manic just now!

Hello:j xx_Jo_xx honey how are you in sunny wales? I love my BM and there is only me! And I totally agree I get far more done if I stay off the pc!!! xxxxxxxxxx

Missus Aka honey you are trying toooooooooooooooooo hard - give yourself a break - its far better to do things steadily so that you get into a routine rather than try to do it all at once and sicken yourself of housework for ever!!! be patient - it didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect to put it right in a day - be patient and stop trying to superwoman!:D

snap I have had chest infection too so I know exactly how you feel. Dont go mad as soon as you feel better or you will take longer to totally recover. I am glad you feel ready to tackle the guilt trip from your Mum - been there too but maybe not doing so well on that front - well done to you for standing up - you have a life and you should be enjoying it:D I love your signature.

Valli hi hon xx I am always amazed at the bargains you get in MrM - I never see prices like that.

hex hope you and your motor are feeling better tomorrow (((hugs)))

well due to the challenge I had set with AnW'sMum i too can say that all my decors and tree are down AND put away - well except the tree as it will have to go to the shed and I am not going out there yet!
what a difference it made to have to knuckle down and do it - usually stuff lies about for days - I did get a ticking off for going up the steps to put the decors away but they would have bugged me all day so its done and with no mishaps.

And since i had the steps out i decided i would do something from my old list which had been there since time immemorial! I repaired the bathroom blind:T except that there is something else wrong with it and I cant see what - its a roman blind and today i sewed some of the guide-rings back on - thats fine it now folds up beautifully BUT.... when you let it down the last fold doesnt go all the wat to the window sill anymore - its as if the cord has shrunk - has that ever happened to anyone?
I have examined it all and there are no snags or cord stuck - it all looks perfect ....just not enough cord now ....most strange!

have also spoken to various people on the phone
put away some of the presies

I just need to wrap something to post tomorrow and I will be happy with today's progress.

get well vibes for all the poorlies including the littlies.

love and hugs and prayers for LadyL xx

love and hugs to you all
    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

    Hi Toots

9p bargains are brilliant when available - and doubly brilliant if you can freeze them ;)

But I was there half-an-hour before closing.

You haven't inadvertantly sewn the cord down have you?

Year ago I bought fabric to make a Roman Blind for my kitchen - in my old house and we moved 12 years ago! I do beleive I *might* still have the fabric - although I can remember thinking I would get rid...

I have edited and printed off four paragraphs from my flylady smurf (basically so I don't say ewww to the LSB) and expect to talk tonight or tomorrow when I will give him the big E.

And I'm rather looking forward to having my weekends back to myself!

very pleased to get today's list done - N's started her extra nursery day (free funding kicked in) and R was happy to play in a bubble bath while I cleaned the bathroom, and take advantage of his sister not being there to bounce on her bed while I finished the other bits before heading off to work. At work the next 2 days so lists will probably wait til Saturday.

We're getting our new washer/dryer Sat as well- CAN'T WAIT! (ours is on last legs, and this one has an extra 2kg wash capacity and the dryer will be saved for emergencies but great to know it's there)

Well, got most of what I wanted done today, but now have two poorly boys :( DS1 fell asleep on the sofa (very cute vid of him nodding off about to be uploaded to FB) and woke up 30 mins later with a temp of 39.7  Called NHS direct but surprise surprise they haven't called back and I can't face a night of sitting in the clinic. Temp has gone down with calpol and nurofen and he's sleeping now, but I can feel another night of no sleep coming on...

Going to scrub the loo before I go to bed, as I got interrupted before I could finish earlier, then collapse as I also have earache and a sore throat :(
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...

I have decided to not follow the lists this week and blitz the house so that I can start following next week and hopefully never let the house get so messy again! :) anyway I am going to continue reading and blitzing and hopefully become a fully fledged fly lady one day :)

    Loving the great thread,

It has been a pleasure 'watching' you regain your home - and your life actually...

    :D

Yes, you are absolutely right, especially about the life thing. Very very astute of you to notice. :D It's all giving me courage to face the bigger fish both me and DH have to fry with his parents re the flat/the shop and some other things. And why the shop stock stuff etc is on MY list rather than my MIL's I'm sure I will end up ranting at some point in time, (and I will be asking Pigpen to delete my original post!) but the whole situation can't possibly be as bad as it was a couple of years back (when I nearly had a breakdown over the head of it) and that's what I comfort myself with. We just have to plough on for now. Luckily DH and I are working together and the children are happy to go along with it. I do just hope it turns out well in the end.
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
