Oh no Pigpen, poor little Freja. Hope it passes quickly. Thank goodness for washing machines eh! DS was sick in his bed last night (had a bad dream, woke up crying and got a bit hysterical and threw up .... all over the clean sheet I'd put on that morning) and then his nappy leaked so off went that sheet and I'll put on yet another new one when I do his bed. Never ends does it.

Anyone fancy a HHC 11.15 - 11.45? I'm so behind after chatting to my friends!

    hi all

Pigpen -having older siblings are godparents worked for us - i am from a large family one of 8 children and i am godmother to my little sister, (one of my brothers was the other godparent) i was 16 when she was born....I am very close to her, although she is big now - she is 30 next year  , when she was a teenager i did try and talk to her about those things that perhaps she did not want to talk to mum about... and although now at 30 she is probably richer than me if anything had happened to our parents when she was young i would have taken care of her.... My mum had a heart attack when my sister was 2 and both her and my brother who was 3 at the time came to live with me for a few weeks whilst my mum recupperated.... I cant say we did this because i am her godmother or because i am her big sister - but we are close and do talk weekly on the phone even though she lives over 200 miles away from me.

Anyway i must get on - i have been back to bed for 2 hours - i have felt yuk for days and last night AF started and has been the worst one ever - i think it is my age - aghg -AF was a nightmare when they started at 14 and i think are starting to be a nightmare again as i approach 50:eek::eek:

anyway of to get dresses and attack the list with energy.....plus i have tons of paperwork and other work to do...... and need to sort out getting some pigs at the end of the month....

hope everyone else is ok? will catch up later ..

  • Mumof2 and Mazzarati, I'm joining you too. *runs to catch*
  • Re-dusting downstairs from the laminate sandstorms - it's just not allowed near my new stereo toy.

Just reserved the replacement jigsaw as the current one isn't going to last until lunch, ever mind the end of the project. It is a relic from the 1970s, though. I shall go out and get it once I've finished my cuppa.

Cleared hundreds of bits of cardboard from downstairs, and collected all the teeny bits of wood in case they are needed.

Emptied his ashtray when he wasn't looking :D

Cleared a whole box of old cosmetics & bubble baths/etc from upstairs and binned them.

Plus an old loo seat (I hate cold plastic!) and the box my one light fitting came in.

Feeling a major urge for home made chips. [rumble]

Why is HE doing an impression of the Muppets' Swedish Chef in the kitchen?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
