I do not like this time of year
    Dark mornings:(
    Short days:(
When is the snow coming back???:eek:
Struggle to get out of bed - so much nicer to snuggle down (NB the house is warm enough)
Then struggle to find the energy/enthusiasm to do anything aka total CBA.

    No justification - just CBA.

    Nope, no flying piggies...

    None here either...

Have had no sleep as fatlegs was up coughing all night. Been to the docs for some nasty yellow antibiotics this morning, which he absolutely refused point blank (don't blame him). DS1 has been crying for 2 hours now because I told him we can't go on a train ride today and even though the kitchen and LR were tidy yesterday they now look like a tornado has been through. Baby is asleep on my lap so will try and get him settled and S&S places, then hit the bathroom. Don't have a study area, just a laptop on the arm of the sofa, so will try and get some things from other lists done too. And some washing done as exorcist baby has managed to cover everything with sick containing cauliwobble cheese and cucumber...

    Hello flying folks,

Struggeling to keep up with the fred so I have decided to give up on that. Love, Hugs, Sticks or spoons to whomever needs/wants one.

Ok yesterday was a bit of a non starter as man turned up late monday night and then drove back to Manc in the morning.. needless to say I was rather tired *cough*.:o Anyway, I did manage to do a bit in the living room and get to my support group so all is good.

Had lots planned for today so set alarm for 7.30, discovered snooze button and got my lazy rear out of bed at 11 whoops... :rotfl:

    Still today has been productive..

Have made appt for smear next week *whoops of joy and excitement* (not) :rotfl:
Have rang for council tax benefit forms
Have arranged for a surveyor to contact me ref grants and survey for insulation etc..
Have whipped up a sausage casserole for tea
Have worked out finances.. cried and then kicked self and got food budget etc organised
    Cleaned bathroom and kitchen
Cleaned fire, lit fire and fetched in coal
    Missed the bin man (grrr)
Tidied up all Christmas gifts and re-organised reference book shelf
    Done two loads of washing

I am now having a time out while I consider what else I can do before I go to see my counsellor at 4pm. (shudders).

I really must meal plan actually.. use up what I have got and that will help me manage my grocery spends too.

    Ok.. off i toddles...

    Big cuddles

    Phew all caught up!

Have taken the tree down and the rest of the decorations this morning, thanks to a challenge from a friend ;) All away by 11am. There are just the outside lights and one or two missed bits to put away now.

WM and TD have been on the go for the past couple of days but washing is up to date, pity I can't say the same for the ironing. I have folded as much as I can and socks have been paired as we've gone along. Lots of strays to pair up but that can wait for now.

Toy box from the landing has been relocated down in the lounge, Christmas stuff put in there and chocs put in a box for each SW (need to label these so there are no arguments).

Need to reclaim the landing now as it is a bomb site (what's new! plus the rest of the house is the same) But progress is being made.

Ever mindful of the VIP visit later this year, we HAVE to be ready! Got The Godfather coming up at the end of the month so need to be in reasonable shape for that, but he knows what we are like!

Hugs, congrats, ooohs and aaahs to one and all, collect as required ;)
