    Afternoon campers, just sitting down to enjoy a lovely roast beef and pickle sandwich for a late lunch. Although I am being stared at by my dog Bear, I keep moving the lappy screen so he can't see me but he has perfected peering at me around the side of it..lol

    Am awaiting an Argos delivery, which by powers of deduction I think will arrive late this afternoon..oh well I could have had a layin this morning after all...lol Darn delivery men!!

    Have been pottering around, inbetween FB and listening to the radio.

    Yikes when did it start to get dark, I have to put my little light on in the living room :( How depressing!!

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Level Two
    Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken
    Level Three

    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. HHI
    3. Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)
    4. Make sure diaries/calendars are up to date with appointments!!!
    Tuesday ~ Living/family room, hallway and stairs
    Level One
    Level Two
    Clear tops of cupboards/coffee tables/magazine racks etc
    Wipe and water plants
    Level Three
    Wipe banister rails/stair spindles/paintwork
    Extras
    1. Filing.. all the papers you just gathered up
    2. Wash any soft furnishings that have not been done in a while or need doing
    3. Wipe door handles and tops of door frames
    4. Vacuum sofas.. don't forget under cushions!
    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and study/pc area
    Level One
    Level Two
    Wipe mouse, keyboard and polish screens while pc runs defrag.
    Scrub bath, loo, sinks, showers
    Level Three
    Wash shower curtains/mat etc that are grotty
    Clean paintwork and shine mirrors
    Extras
    1. Sort through that pile of hotspots!
    2. Make room in the bathroom for your new christmas smellies! and get them installed
    3. Clean radiators.. don't forget the back (sock on a stick/coat hanger!)
    4. Get those christmas 'Thank you's' sent out!

    Today's list all done; one job to be done tomorrow morning, but that's to give the mats 24 hours to dry before we'll need them again.;)

    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and study/pc area
    Level One

    Declutter floors and chairs and pile all the paperwork in one heap
    N/A – all done already
    Clear desk of papers and junk.. give it a good wipe Done on lounge day
    Level Two
    Wipe mouse, keyboard and polish screens while pc runs defrag. Done on lounge day; defrag done last Sunday.
    Declutter 50 emails, 5 dead links and any unused programs.. make backup disc of pics etc.. just in case! Done last Sunday.
    Scrub bath, loo, sinks, showers Done
    Level Three
    Wash shower curtains/mat etc that are grotty Aye aye, Piggers; mats scheduled for washing after our bath tomorrow morning.
    Clean paintwork and shine mirrors Done
    Empty and wash out bins Done
    Extras

    1. Sort through that pile of hotspots! N/A – no hotspots!

    wii pilates was rubbish so I'm going back on mario at the olympics, downhill skiing is fun and really tones the thighs.

    Family room and hallway done.
    Two boxes of decs packed away.
    cake made.

    Off to collect grotbags from school (he has been fighting with Year 6 boys, had the phone call from his tutor, he is a fearless nightmare) then a HHC on the landing before squash lesson, dinner and early bed for DS3.

    Hello everyone:wave: Can I join as a lurker please??? I do try and keep up but am rubbish at remembering to post what I have done - can't promise I will get much done this week as I have a poorly boy :( Can I just say how lovely and friendly everyone is on OS board, I have been reading it for a few years now and have occassionally ventured over to the other boards but they are scary places :eek: So thank you all for being lovely and working hard to keep us all on track :D :j:beer:

    Baby asleep still and is going to be a monster when he wakes up I can tell, so I'm away to the bathroom...

    veg on for dinner, DD has been sent up to get her washing and rubbish, then she can sort out her pressies.

  • do what i do when i want anything big (was taught this by mummy dearest :D)... result happy him as hes saved a fortune and happy me as i got what i wanted originally. ive only done this a couple of times and each time ive got what i want although dont see it working well at the moment
    :rotfl:aren't you lot devious:rotfl:. OH and me don't buy each other presents at xmas and very little for b'days- too stressful for OH and I love him too much to see him practically make himself sick over it. Little gestures through the year are lovely and enough. Suits us.

    We have been sooo good today:j
    Took to dump:
    1. burnt out TD to dump (pre xmas fire:eek:)
    2. breadmaker - defunct
    3. old wireless router, defunct
    4. crate of cardboard
    5. 2 bags for plastic and glass bottles
    Took 2 bags rubbish to communal bin in next street (council no longer does collections to houses)
    One lot of washing now drying on airers.
    xmas decs put away and tree acclimatising to going outside , in dining room.
