Dining room sideboard and the dogs' sofas.
Urgh...running late this morning. Had to come in from outside chores to check what today's flylady would be so that I could concentrate on work out there, so just having a cup of coffee before getting back to work outside. I hate it when I'm still working outside past nine...but some days I can't help it...for a start it makes the dogs late for breakfast!
On the plus side its a great drying day here! Very blustery!0 -

It isn't the present thing per se re the godparents - one has been diligent and great, one set have virtually ditched us for not being religous enough(!) and one has disappeared into the great blue yonder - there is a rumour that she is jealous that i have the one thing she doesn't - a daughter (she has 4 sons!)
my sister refused point blank -well at least she was honest, although it still hurts. But she's married twice and never asked me to be a witness either ( if there was a shrugging smiley I'd use it now!):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
DD couldn't find her schooltie this morning. Despite being told several times to get all her school stuff ready on previous days. :wall:
And she insisted that she had. 'Well, if you had done it, you wouldn't be standing there at seven thirty in the morning screeching at me that you can't find your schooltie then, would you?'
Went into her room. And found every single item of defluffed, washed, dried, folded up and handed to her clothing she has received for the past month and a half has been crammed in a creased jumble into her chest of drawers or the floor of the wardrobe.
So: Today's main job (other than NOT murdering the laminate ruiner) is to stand and glower over her tonight and watch her put every single last piece of clothing in its proper place as she screams, wails, stamps her feet and generally does everything in her power to drive me to belting her (as that would then give her carte blanche to throw herself down on her bed bewailing her Cinderella status).
Only she can't get to her bed. I've pulled every last item of clothing out of her drawers and wardrobe and dumped it all on her bed. And removed the bedlinen. So it is tidy or sleep on the hard floor tonight with nothing to keep her warm.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Penpen you're a star, why I couldn't find 18mm ones I don't know, I think it was because I was using my phone which is naff, thanks you
Right today's plan as I have a day off before the madness of appointments and meetings begin is redo budgets - half a wage, general tidy, finish Tuesday list, do wednesdays list, 6 washer loads, DW empty/reload, turkey dinner for tea (xmas left overs I froze) small amount of shopping after meal plan, measure windows for blinds, shuffle some money around accounts, poop patrolOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Am ready to start again today :j Just taken children to school, their first day back, so everything a bit manic this morning and only basics got done, but now have the whole day to myself - xmas decs down are a definite today as keep wanting to do it, but get sidetracked with other things. I'm fairly sure thie list will be finished and up to date today, other than paperwork which will take me some time and I am just doing a bit at a time, other wise it will overwhelm me
Pigpen - I think it's a lovely idea to have your children as godparentsMine are all close together in age, but if there was a bigger age gap between them and I had christened them it is certainly something I would have considered.

But before the school run I had managed
