  • Congratulations AJ
  • Maisie Mouse hi honey and dont panic - as pigpen said just aim for level 1 each day and by week 2 you will find it easier to add in different chores - stick with us and we will get you there but dont spend all your time reading all the posts - at least not for a week or 2 - we will not think you rude or anything like that - there just isnt enough time to read the thread AND do the lists. we have all been where you are but believe me the lists work and you will find the routine comes and you get control of the housework (((hugs)))

AJ that is fabulous news - Congratulations to you both - how romantic - up a mountain on 1/1/11 - I am over the moon for you:T:T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j:j:j:beer::beer::beer::j:T

Valli well done honey - I am glad you have reached a decision and I am sure you will have made the right decision for you and thats all that matters (((hugs))) YAY:T for the plumbers - cant wait to see the photos -WTG girl you have done well xx
Mumof2 :T:T:Tto your lovely Mum - hope it makes this week easier for you (((hugs)))

well done to all the newbies - it seems daunting at first but give yourself a couple of weeks and then you will find that you are settling into the lists and the routine. If you really want to make a difference in your home you need to stick with us for at least 4-6 weeks - some people will get to grip with it quicker - especially if you can rope in the others in the house - and it depends on the size of the house and the amount of decluttering you need to do - Please dont measure how quick you do the lists or how much you achieve - we are all different with differnt lives - do what you can when you can and do it for YOU!!

get well vibes for all the poorlies and bruised, broken and generally out of sorts.

Love and hugs to everyone - especially LadyL xxxx

have had my pep talk from my carer and my 2 lovely friends so tomorrow is another day!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

[STRIKE]Wipe banister rails/stair spindles/paintwork[/STRIKE] Done. Yuk... I've been wiping over them vaguely, and the painted ones are fine, but the varnished ones (which don't show the dirt so easily) have now had a good scrub.

Just need to make my bed and then (unless Piggers is VERY creative on bedroom day ;):p) my bedroom is pretty much done. Just a bit of dusting and the window/frame to deal with. Off to bed with clean sheets and a hot water bottle (and the alarm set for 6am...)
