Been home from holiday for a few hours. Happy new year to everyone, I have no idea what has been going on! Our holiday was like a dream, amazing hotel, great activities and food and best of all... OH and I got engaged! In the early stages of wedding chats and trying to decide what is best. Told our family today so friends tomorrow.

Ahh - so does that mean we are family? ;)

    Congrats to you both

I bet it was awful with the redundancies and all. Do you all have an end date?

I'm so glad I'm not in my previous office (even though I have nothing to do in my current one) the post-christmas break blues and the grey cold day and the anticipation of a non-future there must have made the atmosphere horrible...

I only have one MSE family :T trying to make sure specific friends know now before anyone lets the cat out of the bag on fb. Just 2 more people to go I think, I have warned all apart from my sis who has posted since finding out but not said anything so I am hoping it will stay that way.

  • Tuesday ~ Living/family room, hallway and stairs
    Level One
Declutter EVERYTHING that does not belong in these areas
Didn't get so far with today's tasks, - rather thrown by the 'declutter everything' bit as our main living area is rather overtaken by OH's stuff and I'm going to need an electric cattle prod to get him to deal with it. Anyone know where I can get one cheap?:D
We'll be putting away xmas decs tomorrow - we wanted one more evening with our lovely tree:D.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

You're doing well Brighton Belle - it'll all come together eventually. I too am enjoying my Christmas tree and its lights still. I won't take it down until the evening of the 6th Jan...
