I still don't understand what Sis2 has against me - other than I'm not one of the women that both sisters tried to set him up with after he divorced QBOTU. *shruggy-man*

I do know Sis2 refused to attend our wedding, what I didn't know til the other night was that when Mr LW rang Sis2 to find out if she was going to attend (she failed to RSVP to the invitation) she told him he'd "overstepped the mark this time". What mark, and who the heck she is to tell him he's overstepped it remains a mystery.

Oh, and Mr LW is the oldest of the siblings, so it's not a "look out for baby brother" thing.

Maybe (with the Christian service and the like) it's a bit of a belief system thingy? That she's even more uncomfortable with her perceptions of pagan activities than you are at Christian ones? Or an anti-illness thing (what with the press idea that people who don't work due to disability are all being fakes, etc)

Dunno other than that - you seem a perfectly nice person to me [smiles sweetly].

Funerals are generally breeding grounds for hostility, hysteria and competitive grieving, in my experience, and aren't about the person who has gone anywhere near as much as they should be.

...although if he continues to ignore the instructions on this laminate flooring and tell me everything I ask about is going to make it look '***t', getting stressed that putting it together back to front is harder than following the instructions, I will be forced to arrange one sooner rather than later.

Not me - and I definitely DID NOT feel the earth move :rotfl:
Jassa that is wonderful news on the baby, congratulations to your DD

Serena well done for being so pro-active.

pinched Dusty's lines as they are exactly what I wanted to say

I'm fine - absolutely fine. Just got to let 'someone' in on the 'secret' as it were, which won't be pleasant but I have had an able scriptwriter and intend to print out a PM. ;) Basically I will be saying that there are a couple of things which I cannot put up with, which will niggle if we did continue to see each other and so I feel it better to stop now, while we can be amicable. I am absolutely certain my feelings aren't going to ever get any deeper anyway and I DON'T want another child - especially one masquerading as a bloke;)

OO - almost forgot - the plumbers have been - it's almost finished. Though why they turned up outside my house on the offchance someone would be in to let them in I know not. DD was off school ill but ignored the door until I phoned, from work, to tell her to let them in. (Although I suppose not letting two strange blokes in when you're 14 and your Mum never told you they were coming is a sensible thing to do, really).

I'll take pictures when it IS finished - lets hope it's THIS week.
