Helly.. Freja doesn't like going to OH either she is such a mummy's girl.. she just screams the minute he gets her and stops the instant I take her back.. He gets really upset and I get no time to do anything! I have tried telling her she is meant to be a daddy's girl!
Jakey isn't quite so bad, he'll happily play with Daddy (coz he's silly) but as soon as he's upset or wants a cuddle it's me he wants! And at the moment he just wants constant cuddles with this cough and his teeth, meaning my kitchen isn't fit for human habitation! Maybe we should persuade the men that seeing as the babies need us, they need to do some housework...

:D :rotfl:
If I've made real coffee and forgotten it I quickly heat it up on the hob. If I used a microwave I'd consider that option too. I 'm even considering a pot for the top of my woodburner.0 -

Great idea, when we are camping we have a large enamel pot on a gas ring almost all day, just top it up as and when needed.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Nope, I would get my dad to buy one, get him to propagate one for me and then kill it. (Just in case my mum is lurking today )
For something I wanted? Yes, I would, and indeed have for a magnolia.
Do you have exactly the right spot for it with the right soil/aspect and so on?
Is it still going to be the right spot in 15 years when it is enormous?
Not a huge amount done, beyond finding my spare suit and checking that I can actually fit in it. I need to put it in the TD with a dry clean sheet and give it an iron. I have put the DW on a cleaning cycle - working hard today :rotfl:. I am sore though, no idea why, fretting about going back to work maybe.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

We just got my mother a kindle for christmas she loves it.. we got the 6" one which is about the same size as a standard paperback so fits nicely in a handbag but about as deep as a mobile phone.. I got her the leather case.. in bright pink! (My mother looks like Queen Victoria!) and her friend got her a voucher for some books.. she loves it.. font size ca be changed if you need it to be.. it can store hundreds of books and what she really likes is whatever you plug it into (laptop/desktop etc) it links automatically and updates all of them across the network..Jakey isn't quite so bad, he'll happily play with Daddy (coz he's silly) but as soon as he's upset or wants a cuddle it's me he wants!
