my HHC got a bit distracted by feeding the little man but decluttered and wiped down all the kitchen counters again, cleaned the sink and did 15mins ironing - all my ironing is done, the kids uniforms are all done and re-name labelled and I have made a tiny dint into DH's mountains of shirts.
I have received tons of the stuff I ordered through the internet last week so am now ready and raring to learn how to knit, learn how to make bath bombs, cook takeaway style food, run with my iphone arm band and get abs of steel with the 30 day shred - now i just need to work out how to get more hours into the day to do all of the above!Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -

Bathroom tidied, sink cleaned ala ajax, finally got the hair dye stains out of the sink.
Soaps put out, know it sounds daft but I buy them then forget to put them out, forget I've got them and then buy more!

My nannas dob was 1/1/22Today's list was started last night - before I even saw the list! I swear Piggers is psychic! I got Mr LW to de-gibble his desk and magazine racks - if I do it for him, there's a danger I'll fling something he wanted to keep.;)
His Sis1's funeral is set for Monday 10th - he got a call from his Sis2 last night. He asked me if I wanted to go; whilst I'd be happy to go and pay my last respects, we both know I'd be about as welcome as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip, so I won't be going.:(
I am.. psychodelic
As for funerals.. it isn't about who else will be there it is about how you felt about the person who has left. If you want to go because you loved the person then go.. You don't have to speak to or even look at anyone else.. and you can always go straight back home after the service.
triker hun.. you rang in sick for a reason.. and I am sure that reason wasn't so you coud do 9billion other things at home!
Serena.. Glad things are being sorted quickly for you..
Miss Baloo is away to sleep in her nest and I have sorted all her clothes so only ones that fit are in the drawers.
Washing mostly up to date
School tomorrow for everyone except DS2 who goes back Thursday.. he has been banished to do homework.
Where has today gone? I cannot believe it is 3pm already!!
Updated new spreadsheet for this year added in all the new figures ready for getting stuff paid off asap.. got the loan statement through this morning and I had miscalculated the total by a measly £300 which is very little in the scheme of things really.. need the mortgage statement now so I can truly be up to dateFinances looking so much better than they have in previous years and I also added a section on my mothers payments to me.. She will get my moey repaid.. ooh just remembered something I'd not added!

EEK this is a task and a half.! I still have 4 packing boxes in the front room, and several random items I have not found a home for yet! I may be a long time. Forget stages 2 and 3! (and probably the rest of the week!).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
helen_jelly wrote: »Soappie - do you know - if you've had swine flu can you get it again I'm assuming you can just like flu, I'm thinking of my DS, both kiddies had it last year [make that the year before!] DD has had the flu jab cos she's asthmatic but DS doesn't get it, I'm pondering on paying for the jab for him
Helen x
PS your DD sounds like a very sensible young woman - well done you and get well vibes for DD
Just read this and according to my Dr you can get it twice - I'm an example. Last year I had swine flu exactly the same time as now, and that was after having the annual flu jab, and DH had to go out in the middle of the night and pick up the Tamiflu for me. Oh and I felt like carpe believe me. This year I have also had swine flu but unfortunately got it for 5 weeks, I just have the exhaustion now. I decided against getting the flu jab as I didn't want to get ill, but I did get ill with SF - in some ways I wish I had got ordinary flu.
Soappie - I couldn't have even gone out and picked up a £100 pound note, must admit I wouldn't even do it now as I ache still. I'm still on over the counter tablets - 4th batch now - but that is what the Dr said to keep taking. At least I'm not comatose as I have been on and off the past 5 weeks.
If I get it again next year I am going to scream and personally kill someone in the medical world..lol:rotfl:Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

afternoon everyone
its actually raining here so I hope the snow will get a shift now.
mummyyof5 hope your flu goes away soon - if it is flu then you should be resting and recovering otherwise you just drag it on for longer - stay in and do nought!!!!!
seafarers wife I am glad you got the reply you wanted - try to not answer emails straight away - maybe train yourself to wait until the next day so that you have time to absorb all the info and then can write the best reply - sounds like he was just emptying the ideas from his head which doesnt always work on paper/emails unless you can follow up with a discussion - I totally agree with Crafty's idea - if you are not as secure as you want to be and because you miss him soooooooo much get that bit printed off - just Crafty's extract and get it laminated so you can pin it up as a constant reminder of his words. It will all work out fine when you are together - now concentrate on the wedding.
4 times Mum well done getting the family roped in - keep it going and they should begin to do it without too much fuss (fingers crossed!)
holly wow WTG with the ironing - now dont be a naughty flylady and let it get that bad again - you know you will regret it!!! (((hugs)))
sabs10 I thinkthats definately the way to go :T- IMHO children should be sorting out their uniforms, bags etc and as you say you can double check - if they can do that everynight when they go up then there are less likely to be dramas in the morning. And as you so right said to its a good life lesson - even for us adults (greenbee!!!!!) it only takes minutes to lay out your clothes etc the night before but can save you so much time when you are a sleepy head!!!!
Triker get some rest as well honey - chest infections can really knock you (((hugs))) and listen to pigpen!!!!!!
Polly well done sorting out the window repair - it should make a difference if we have more bad weather! with the kitchen get some brochures and quotes - sometimes to pay a bit extra you will get a better and more effcient job - remember the upheavel is going to be horrendous but well worth it in the end. I would go with a package where they arrange and install everything - its hard work trying to co-ordinate tradesmen if they arent part of the kitchen company - just my tuppence worth. xx
Jassa Congratulations Grandma and to your DD and her DH. Welcome to the world little man - you have an easy birth date to remember - no excuse for anyone to forget your presies - lots of love from your internet auntie tootsxx:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Serena well done getting it seen to - just you tell us know when you need us and we will be with you - you still deserve a (((hug))) xx
LameWolf you do whats right for you and DH and to hell with everybody else. If you decide not to go I am sure you can spend a few moments of your own thinking of happy times you have had. (((hugs)))
lovecrafting hope your appointment at the hospital goes ok and if they say rest then make sure you do honey.lostinrates wrote: »I want a mummy to do my room.:o No offers I suppose:D
piggers is Freja sleeping in her crib now?
hope all those gone back going back to school and work this week dont find it tooooooo difficult - a few early nights might help!!!
I am tired but it was worth it - my DB DsiL and 2 neices and nephew arrived about 11 and stayed for a couple of hours - it was long enough this time - I love them to bits but I am just not up to it and my LR is not that big! they brought me my presies and they all opened theirs which I think they were pleased with - my favourite is fur lined crocs (I did ask for them!) which havent been off since I opened them!
might go have a nap for a wee while before tea.
tootsxxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
