I'm not going to be able to get the living room done today so I've opted to do the bathroom and our bedroom, they are very tidy and clean now, so I'll swop LR for one of the days that cover the BR or Master BD.

DD has gone over the road to play with another girlie so ~I have let DS have some time on the Wii

Off to S&S the kitchen now

    Tara all

PS Jasa - lovely news, congrats to you and DD

    Jassa - congratulations
Serena - just more stress for you, my business partner had one removed from his hand last year and he was absolutely fine
pollybear - I do sympathise, we got a grand total of two 5 minute jobs done, and I am seriously tempted to get someone in

Very cold here, and I am too stiff to do anything much yet. So far today I have put the WM on, and made lunch :o.

Took me an hour and ten minutes(alot less than i expected) and DS2's room is now looking good! Most of his stuff homed, just a few bits to put away in the underbed boxes, one bag of rubbish to go out and clothes to put away. BUT you can see and walk across the floor and you can see and get into the bed which is a great improvement on earlier today.
Quick cuppa, then finish off and hoover in there, then time to start on DS1's room if I have time!

Wash any soft furnishings that have not been done in a while or need doing

    Huh...
Mine were done yesterday after a spillage. So I thought "What else is soft that I can do? Net curtains!!!"

Brilliant. Except I had a minor heart attack at the state of the windows underneath (cat and paw prints....) Great, another job to add to the list. But they were done quickly with the aid of anti-bac wipes and a towel....... They all smell lovely now!

    And added to the list:
    • [STRIKE]Dentist appointments made
    • Opticians appointments made
    • Amend DWP appointment
    • Solicitors and divorce appointment made
    • Diary updated with new appointments![/STRIKE]

    I want a mummy to do my room.:o No offers I suppose:D

I think its going to rain so I've decided to not put any more washing on today. :(
  • Afternoon, all!

Has anyone seen my washing pile? I went to the linen bin this morning expecting to see it piled high as usual, but there was nothing in it. [narrows eyes and heads off to inspect under DD's bed].

[Comes back down even more confused as there were no cups, glasses or dust bunnies hiding under there either]

Offed the tree this morning. at the dust and cat fluff behind where it stood!

Now having a cuppa whilst The Bloke clatters away getting ready to lay the laminate. By the sounds of it, he might be ready to start on Friday - just as the manufacturer is delivering my first ever brand new sensor condenser tumble dryer.

 I've just realised - he intends to do the sawing in the middle of the kitchen rather than on the patio

And he NEVER, NEVER, NEVER cleans up his DIY stuff as he goes. And he admits himself that he was an incredibly messy builder when he had his own company
