PS Sabs10 - its good that you are making the kiddies do their own stuff - my DD starts big school in Sept and I've started [only since Xmas] to make her do more round the house and if she wants credit on her phone [thanks Father Xmas] then she has to earn it - she's a willing helper at the mo but I expect that to change - she come back round when she runs out of phone credit though - a little life lesson waiting for her I think!Projects made for craft fair - 40

Had a better night last night than i thought we would. DD was in with us for about an hour but was quite happy to go back to her own bed. DS1 spend most of the night in with me and glued to me so he slept well but i didn't! We are just luck DS2(10 months) is a fabulous sleeper - 4 in a bed is a squeeze but 5 in a bed would be too much! Both DH and I have been quite unwell but I managed to get the kids to the opticians and he has made it into work. When we were in bed last night he had a text and realised he had to be in work at 10am rather than 11.45am as he had thought so i had to trail 3 kids to the opticians, which was 'fun'!
DS's eyes have improved slightly but he has had to be referred to the hospital, which is a pain but DD has been under hospital care for her eyes since she was 18 months so we are very familiar with the whole process.
DS2 is being super clingy today so i am struggling to get anything done at all but hopefully I can encourage the twins to distract him so I can get something done.

The phone has not arrived here yet, but is on birthday wish list - end of August. Don't have problem with getting help, i just need to remember to ask for it lol. I have always made the girls look after/prepare their school stuff. After all if i have to do it/carry it etc then i'd be going to school too lol"Life's like a box of chocolates. Afternoon all, not caught up yet.
I did the living room yesterday so I've just tidied round this morning. One load of washing done. Recycling crate and food bin emptied and back in.
My bedroom window has been stuck open an inch for months and I've been ramming old flannels and towels in the gap through this cold weather. DH said we'll get it sorted in the summer (never do anything today that you can put off until tomorrow). I got sick of it and I rang someone up this morning, who came round a couple of hours later to see what it was and should be able to fix it later this week. He's managed to shut the window for now so as long as I leave it alone it will be OK until he gets the new hinges.
I wish I'd done it weeks ago.
The next thing is to get up the courage to have the kitchen done. We've saved up the money but it took me months to get over having the bathroom doneI hate having people doing stuff in the house. I know everyone feels the same so I just have to get on with it. When the window is done I will ring up for a quote.
Going to catch up now, my hands are really too cold to type!0 -
Plenty of ironing done - much more to do but the iron needs descaling...... but first it must cool down!:mad::mad::jFlylady and proud of it:j0

I've managed to get quite a lot done, dot to dotting. Think I'll do a meal plan and shopping list next and pop to Mr M, must remember to use my £5 vouchers.
DH due home early for a haircut so hopefully that means he can do the cricket nets run this week as I doubt he'll be in the country on home early enough to do many of the others. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
