Up at 6.30 but a lousy night's sleep. DD nearly 6 was so excited about going to school she was awake at 2am. She didn't get to sleep till after 10pm so expexting very tired DD at home time. (that usually means tantrums and tears).
2 baskets of clothes put away. 1 load in and 2 more to do, where does it all come from?. DW unstacked and breadfast things stacked in it. Managed to jump in shower this morning as i had organised everything for school yesterday, felt so much better, been walking around like a bag lady for the last 3 days, amazing how less down i feel when house is in order (nearly) and have made the effort with myself. Just got to get into the routine of keeping up with it. Hugs to all who need them.xLife is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper

Front room now looks very tidy and sparkly, now to keep the kids out of it so it stays that way.
Have a little bit of Washing up to do and I am waiting for my ashing to start drying so I can do some ironing.
A little cuppa and a browse while waiting I think.

Will it count that I get DD1 & DD2 to prepare themselves for school, and that i just double check it?
I feel it is important that they learn to prepare for their week/day themselves, especially the eldest as she is due to start secondary school in September, and she needs to be responsible for her own things, and it is a good life skill to be organised. sorry am of track a little but a have paranoid parent syndrome lol"Life's like a box of chocolates. Going to stick the kettle on and start with a HHC in the kitchen and see where it takes me, going with the flow and just seeing what I can get done today.
That sounds very much like my morning although need to get moving a bit now as I want to clear another pile of ironing this afternoon..0

Desk tidied and cleaned. Missing receipt located. Headphones found (so no excuse not to go for a run then!).
Looks as if next door are having their connection to the shared water supply replaced. Fingers crossed that solves the leak, otherwise its on my connection. And my supply pipe cover doesn't kick in until later this month (mind you, if it is on mine, I don't plan on doing anything about it until about March, when the weather is better!). I don't suppose for a moment that anyone has actually checked/replaced the shared pipe though Funnily enough, we appear to have had more leaks since the water company got a private contractor involved who is offering to replace the pipes as an insurance job under 'accidental damage' - sounds dodgy when it is clearly wear and tear causing the problem as the pipes are about 60 years old! 0 Funnily enough, we appear to have had more leaks since the water company got a private contractor involved who is offering to replace the pipes as an insurance job under 'accidental damage' - sounds dodgy when it is clearly wear and tear causing the problem as the pipes are about 60 years old! 0
