I know you guys said this thread moves fast, but boy!! Had a quick skim over posts and glad to see SEAFARERs you have a reply. I would do nothing about it (as in replying) for a short while so you can have a good think on a more rational basis; kneejerk reactions can usually make things worse. xx

Plus the DAILIES - like the WM is on, DW is on. HOTSPOT in bed still hasn't been done; but has to today as I have a man coming to quote for a move tomorrow AM. I think I will cancel him as little bro and his mate are going to do it for a few hundred instead and a professional cannot do it cheaper.

Good idea... in my case this should probably include not buying anything other than veg for about 6 months. Or do you want to come over and help me eat it :)?

Walked to the shop, bought broccoli & eggs. Washed and changed for reflexology. Can't find my ipod headphones anywhere, and I need them for running :( I know I've seen them... must have tidied them up!

Blood test appt. cancelled and appointment made with my usual GP, so need to write a list.

Seafarer's - ignore me if you like, but I suggest you say to your OH that christmas/new year is a difficult time emotionally, especially when you're already apart so much, and that you avoid dealing with things that might be emotional/misinterpreted via email. Even the phone can be risky, as you miss out on so many signals from body language. Buy yourself some time to reflect. Never send an email first go - always sleep on it and reread in the cold hard light of day :o. And use the next few weeks to think about what you really want from life, so that when you see each other again you can talk through the potential issues sensibly.

Might try to take my own advice at some point. I am so not looking forward to this week...

I would like to join the flylady thread. I have tried before and found it moved too quickly and most importantly I never can find the daily ''chore list'' in the busy thread apart from in the last posts, where things are already edited but I'm out of routine and I think it will help me.

  • sensible advice as usual greenbee! Hugs to seafarers and valli!

DD2 off to school, DS off to college. OH cluttering the place up! He has never been here in the mornings when the kids get up and I LOATHE it when he is now - he b*****s up our carefully worked out routine!

I'm not back to work until tomorrow (back permitting) so I'm about to do a series of HHI - anyone want to join me?

Oh and we felt nothing last night! In this neck of the woods (2 miles south of York) the earth did not move. Ironically DD2 was doing Geography homework at the time!
