Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Level Three
    Dust and deweb
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE] i really need to do this

    4. Make sure diaries/calendars are up to date with appointments!!!

  • I sure hope my housework duties remain so easy! It sure is great when you are on top of things!

Last night I even got all the ironing up to date and that only took about 25 minutes as there was so little to do!
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Hi pjjx - have a Christmas tree so you don't get missed. :xmastree:

DH and DS decluttered to work and nursery respectively - DH not home tonight so I must remember to pick up DS!! Mum & Dad are on their way from Cornwall and are taking me and DD out to lunch so that'll be lovely.

Seafarers, so pleased you got a good response. It's always hard trying to communicate by email/phone. I think Crafty's idea of printing off the words and pinning up somewhere are excellent. I have a 'happy thoughts' board to help me when I feel bleugh and I often look at it.

Right, must dash. Hugs to all!

    Morning all

On a bit of a go slow this morning, it seems oh so quiet with every body out of the house.

Going to stick the kettle on and start with a HHC in the kitchen and see where it takes me, going with the flow and just seeing what I can get done today.

Toots - I hope you feel a wee bit better today and that you enjoy the time with your DB

Hex - forgot to send you a hug last week for the screaming DS. Not sure I can give much advice other than one thing I've learnt with kids is that any bad behaviour is rarely forever, this too will pass x

Mudders not seen you around, hope you are ok

Seafarers I'd send a quick apology email, with love and move on. Can I ask how old you both are? I'd guess at mid to late 20's

  • First HHC didn't go too well as discovered poorly smelly WM - totally clogged up filter now scrubbed out and a cleanout wash on - will rewash the smelly sopping clothes as soon as it finishes.

Have decluttered some phone calls from my list and made appts, paid bills and ordered extra trousers (DS will keep growing ;))

OK - DS taking down the tree, so I best go get on with the kitchen items on my list.

GreenBee - yep I too only will need veg, fruit & milk for ages - just putting a lamb casserole into the slowcooker for tonight. Found cooked veg bits in the freezer so it'll be an easy dinner tonight so I can get to the bottom of my list - hopefully!

    Another HHC at 10.30 anyone?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning all!
First wash is nearly finished, just heading off to put away the things from yesterday's 4!! loads, after that it's the pan cupboard from yest (which needs clearing anyway so we can access the pipes for putting our new washer/dryer in when it arrives!!!) then might make a start on the dining room (aka dumping ground) and will do the living room stuff during naps.

Everything now is at last in two places...on the stairs to go up or on my desk to go through....will take pile up thisafternoon and tick through my desk tomorrow afternoon when I am babysitting here and need jobs to do in the room with the baby.

    Right...off to start decluttering.

phew. Apart from the huge piles on my desk and the stairs I'm pretty pleased with that. Got through things much quicker than I thought. I'm also doing some upstairs today: our bedroom is like a teenagers and I plan to attack it in two attempts, and the upstairs landing and corridor. which have been uncleaned since the week before Christmas :o

edit: second load of washing in now. There is a HEAP. After this there is a coloureds wash then all the dogs' bedding...I've been piling used dog bed covers up since Christmas too. :(
  • i did send an email Dusty but i didnt apologise, just explained how getting something like that makes me feel and that when im hurt my instinct is to hurt back. ive also said that he can tell me everything and needs to tell me when ive made him angry, but he knows im a drama queen so he knows how i react to things hence shouldnt have been so silly as to send me something like that. im also pretty insecure deep down which is why i react the way i do but he knows the reasons why im insecure and thats being worked on. we are both 25 & 26 so mid twenties is right on the money :D

its over and done with now so will just see how the next few weeks go as im probably in the doghouse now with him, but wedding is going ahead :rotfl:
