Is that a decent one in amongst the ones you've already got, or a new decent one? It took me ages to find mine, so if you want the details I can look them up for you :)

Been for a run... too shattered to do anything now. Will have a shower, then need to do a bit more work before my 6pm meeting (during which I hope to finish the ironing). Then some food, housework and a late night walk to reach my targets in my new year fitness drive!

I went for this one based on 25 year guarantee and reviews but its going back the handle is loose and there is a mark on the side....:(

Tired now, yup, hear you loud and clear Piggers and Toots, I just wanted to get something done, feel so much time has gone with nothing productive happening.

Sagaris Congratulations to your DH; excellent news!:T:T:T

LameWolf you do whats right for you and DH and to hell with everybody else. If you decide not to go I am sure you can spend a few moments of your own thinking of happy times you have had. (((hugs)))
I've been thinking about it all day today; I don't think I will go.

I only ever met Sis1 once (at our wedding); I've already said my own farewells to her (candle ceremony, at home), I'm uncomfortable in Christian services, and also the 5-hour round trip will knock me sideways, as owing to the timing, there'll not be chance for much of a rest stop on the way there.

Add the animosity that Sis2 has towards me, and I think it'll make it a lot worse for Mr LW - he'll either have to rush off after the service when he'll want to at least speak to some of the family, or risk having to keep the peace between me and Sis2 - whilst I wouldn't make any waves, I gather she very likely would, and I don't want him to feel any worse than he has to at such an occasion.

No, I think it's better I remain here and provide a hot meal and a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when he gets back. As I know the time of the service, I can take time out at the appropriate time to think of her.

I still don't understand what Sis2 has against me - other than I'm not one of the women that both sisters tried to set him up with after he divorced QBOTU. *shruggy-man*

I do know Sis2 refused to attend our wedding, what I didn't know til the other night was that when Mr LW rang Sis2 to find out if she was going to attend (she failed to RSVP to the invitation) she told him he'd "overstepped the mark this time". What mark, and who the heck she is to tell him he's overstepped it remains a mystery.

Oh, and Mr LW is the oldest of the siblings, so it's not a "look out for baby brother" thing.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

If you want non-stick (I didn't, and that's what took the time), you're probably safest with John Lewis own brand as they're pretty reliable. I have pots and pans from them that I've had for 10 years and they're going strong. You may even get something in the sales. Have a look online.

Better get dressed and find my list. And some water...

Well, dear reader - DH passed his driving test - first attempt too! I'm so pleased, I will see what we are doing to celebrate and hopefully get a bit of housework in too. I've not stopped smiling yet - it will be so nice to have another driver! I have got to contact the car insurance people to get him changed from a learner on the policy though - bet that will cost a bit!

    Well done him!!!!!!!!
