Well, dear reader - DH passed his driving test - first attempt too! I'm so pleased, I will see what we are doing to celebrate and hopefully get a bit of housework in too. I've not stopped smiling yet - it will be so nice to have another driver! I have got to contact the car insurance people to get him changed from a learner on the policy though - bet that will cost a bit!

Well done to everyone so far, I'm feeling a bit guilty seeing how well everyone else has done - but there's still a few hours before bedtime that I might catch up in!

Oh - just looking round I have seen a pile of ironed clothes - he's done them for me while I've been at work, and just left me the 'awkward' bits to do - I might have to hire him out!!!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

mummyroysof3 - I have a kindle and love it, there are loads of free books on amazon (lots of classics, which I love :p) but you can get some more modern ones as well, plus there are sometimes deals for a penny. They are so good for holidays / travelling etc as obviously they hold loads of books. it is really light and thin, but quite tough (I normally just stick it in my bag loose with no cover and it is fine - had it over a year). You can take some books off and add new ones if it gets full, Amazon stores all your books online so you can re-jiggle when you ewant to. HTH

(There are over 5,000 free books, so you may never have to pay for another book!!! ;) )

    Happy x

Have finished all of Mondays jobs and sorted out childrens things for tomorrow, so now for the rest of Tuesdays list

  • Good evening everyone

Well I can't actually cross anything off Tuesday's list :( I have been very busy though. I had lots of stuff to do today - get some shopping in from Mr M and Mr W - bank a couple of cheques (I won £5 on the Pl*nty kitchen roll competition:j), post some letters, make an appointment for a smear test, change my hair appointment, and make some phone calls!!

Me and hubby are out to dinner at a friend's house tonight so I've made a beef casserole and mash for DD2 and DD3. DD1 is staying at BF's tonight.

I've also done 3 WM and TD loads.

I really, really want to get my bungalow up together - we moved to a smallish 3 bedroom bungalow from a 4 bedroom 3 storey town house and although I got rid of a lot of stuff the attic and garage are still pretty full :(

I am taking advice though and taking it in babysteps. I think by coming on here and reading everyones posts it will keep me going.

    Wannabe x

Washing folded and taken to respective rooms.

Bathroom tidied, sink cleaned ala ajax, finally got the hair dye stains out of the sink.

Soaps put out, know it sounds daft but I buy them then forget to put them out, forget I've got them and then buy more!

Off to find a decent frying pan.
Is that a decent one in amongst the ones you've already got, or a new decent one? It took me ages to find mine, so if you want the details I can look them up for you :)

Been for a run... too shattered to do anything now. Will have a shower, then need to do a bit more work before my 6pm meeting (during which I hope to finish the ironing). Then some food, housework and a late night walk to reach my targets in my new year fitness drive!
