Have been a lazy moo and didn't do shred again on Fri. :o Will do it on Monday though as need to get moving. My new Pilates DVD arrived today so will give that a go on Tuesday. :j

Tired from 5am alarms already - only 5 more to go.

OH hired a carpet cleaner today and the amount of dirt it pulled out of the carpets was really minging  The carpets are looking a LOT better though. :T

Washed some manky cat blankets and found some (plus a cat tent my cats don't use) to donate to my mum for her new kittens. Going to visit after work tomorrow to have a cuddle. :j The pictures she has sent me are sooo cute. :D

Also managed to stick a White washing on but will need to do a dark one tomorrow for the rest of my work stuff, will also need to iron.

Well done on the barclaycard, its nearly there. Carpet cleaners are good, but bad. My sister and I bought a vax between us, and it still scares me when I see the colour of the water being chucked out.

    HI Sashbybo,
Just thought I'd pop in and say hello.
I tried that Shred DVD - I found the woman so scary I had to hid the DVD in the freezer and eat a cream cake!!!

    Hi gilli and sazzle. :hello:

Yes gilli the colour of the water out of that carpet cleaner was horrendous!

Sazzle - yes Gillian is a scary lady but sometimes I need the shouting to make me do it! :rotfl: Didn't do it today though.... was feeling really sick at work for most of the morning so didn't think jumping about when I got home was a good idea. _pale_

Went to see my mum's kittens yesterday and they are so so cute and teeny tiny! I wanted to steal them! They don't even meow, they just squeak. Picture on the PAD thread if you haven't seen the wee darlings. :D

Work was fairly quiet which was good as I was feeling pretty rough and was on announcing.

OH and I have booked a trip on the sleeper down to London in April, going for a day and staying over then travelling to OH's parents for a couple of days. Never been to London so looking forward to it. :j Looking at things to do and money off vouchers as well. :D

Still wasn't feeling great at work today but seem to be starving all the time - don't know what's going on!

Did 30 mins of my new Pilates DVD and quite liking it so far but it is a bit advanced at some bits and my arms really hurt now. :o I've discovered that I have noodles instead of arms, I'm not strong enough to do the exercises where you have to hold your body up on your arms and then do movements. Have hurt myself a bit by trying to do more than I'm capable of. :(

Not much else to report really, still need to get organised for OH's birthday and he has a friend coming up for the weekend as well. Have arranged to go for lunch on Saturday (probably tapas) with the girls (& gay) I went to school with, should be fun. :D:j

Only two more shifts to go until my days off. :j

Woohoo, I'm not back at work until next Wednesday. :j Work was crazy busy for most of the morning so the day went in fast.

Horrible weather today, bitter cold, windy and heavy rain. *shudder*

Happy to report that I did more Pilates yesterday and it was still very hard work but in a good way. :) Decided to give myself a rest today as muscles are very achey and I'm lazy. :o

Going out for lunch tomorrow with OH and his friend, then lunch on Saturday with my friends and on Sunday OH and I are going for a class in cocktail making. :D Going to be an expensive weekend but we don't often go out and we deserve it. :T

Made lemon cupcakes for OH's birthday and he ate at least four at once. My brother was more restrained with only two. :D

Planning on doing a bit of housework before OH arrives home with his friend in tow but apart from that just want to relax.

Ooo - very jealous of your cocktail making classes. Was watching Cash in the Attic the other day (don't ask!) and she found 5 cocktail shakers from the "olden days" and I was just thinking I could get into something like that.

:rotfl: Sazzle, I sometimes watch Cash in the Attic and some sad part of me quite enjoys it. :rotfl: My favourite has got to be Bargain Hunt though. :o

Anyway the cocktail class is a one night thing where you go to a bar and get to make three cocktails and then have a two course meal. Sounds like it will be fun. :j

Nasty weather today and got soaked on the way home after our lunch. :( Lunch itself was nice though, went to a micro-brewery and had some lovely beer.

Looking forward to lunch with my friends tomorrow, although not heading out in that weather again.

Have been too lazy to post since Friday - had fun at my lunch with friends on Saturday and got a good deal through 5pm.co.uk so we got 3 tapas plus dessert for £11.95 each. :j With two drinks each on top it worked out about £20 each so not bad at all. :T

Went to the cocktail making class last night with OH and had good fun. There were about 15 people in total and we were shown how to make three gin based cocktails and of course got to sample them. After that it was a two-course pan-asian dinner which was divine. Was quite tipsy on the way home as the cocktails got progressively stronger. :D Would recommend the night as it was good value for money and enjoyable.

Went out today to buy more wool for the (never ending) cushion cover I'm knitting and they didn't have the right shade of wool. Came home and ordered it online but it seems to be limited availability/end of line stock. So might not get what I've ordered. :(

Treated myself to a new purse in TK Maxx -see here.

Got it for the bargainous price of £14.99 so am quite happy with that as it was £40 full price.:j

Finally got my Amazon vouchers from Toluna, so that's £30 into our Amazon gift certificates fund. :j Will probably use it towards a blu-ray set as a treat for ourselves. Always feels better when using vouchers since it feels free. :D:T

Need to give my mum a call today as she's not been well and neither has my brother. Might go round if she's up to it as I'm back at work tomorrow on lates for 7 days.

Found out the other day that the back door on the passenger side of the car has a blown seal at floor level. The floor was soaking because of the heavy rain running down the side of the car and in through the blown seal. Have been using newspaper to soak up the worst of it but will need to try and get it booked in soon.

Also need the boot lock looked at as it's not working properly (sticking and refusing to open) and the touch button has gone. Plus it will need a service soon. :( Don't want to think how much it's going to cost to get that lot sorted out.

Did 30 mins of my Pilates DVD this morning and will give my Blast Off Belly Fat one a go tomorrow as haven't done it for a while. My arms are still pathetically weak when doing the Pilates. :o
