Finished work today for my five days off. :j Work was really busy and I was really knackered by the end of my shift.

Got home and my new exercise DVD had been delivered so had a go at that - just did two of the workouts (which are 10 mins each). Realised I'm really not co-ordinated at all. :o

The Pilates abs workout was pretty hard at parts but quite enjoyed it and it made a change from Shred. Was finding it difficult to keep up though as the instructor is quite fast when showing you what to do (as it's only a 10 min workout). Should be okay once I've done it a few times though (I hope).

My mum sent me a text an hour ago to say she was in hospital with chest pain. She has been admitted while they do tests to make sure it's not heart problems but says they think it's a chest infection. Hopefully she will get out tonight and it's not anything worse than an infection. :(

OH is coming home tonight from his parents which turns out to be good timing.

So tired - feel like I could sleep for a year atm. Think I will have a hot bath as I'm aching from Shred yesterday and my Blast Off workouts today. So unfit. :o

Good news - my mum got out of hospital last night and said her GP was just being cautious by sending her up there in the first place. She was in an ambulance and everything.

OH got home fine and am using his iPad to type this out just now - it's a bit weird getting used to it, like a giant iPhone!

Going to meet friends for lunch so that should be good and hoping to do some more of my new DVD in a bit as well.

Still waiting on an Amazon voucher from Toluna - ordered in November! They are ridiculously slow! Have enough points for another voucher but don't want to order it until I have the first one.

    Hi Sashybo,
So so pleased your mum is ok! I'm all for being cautious but do wonder if sending people with chest pains to hospital in an ambulance may cause a little bit too much stress in the patient! Also good news on the Onepoll payout. I got one after a year of doing it and then couldn't be bothered with teh whole rigmoral. Am back into it and had been doing loads...only to discover I'd less than £20 in there :(
I couldn't get into Toluna - how long does it take to get a payout?

Hi sazzle, thanks. Think the GP was over-cautious as my Grampa had heart problems later in life (although my mum is only early fifties!). She also has bad asthma so has weaker lungs. Think she got a scare though because her older sister died very unexpectedly last month and was only early sixties. :(

Spoke to her today and will go over tomorrow - she is still feeling sore and very tired. She's also going into hospital for an operation in 2 months so a lot of health related stuff going on for her atm. She's a nurse, so seems to be in the hospital more than she's out of it just now!

OnePoll is sooo slow and have to remember to check it every day - I'm on £37 just now and inching painfully towards £40. Think I've cashed out once before with them as well.

I don't think it took too long to get enough points to cash out on Toluna, I would say a couple of months if you do the surveys as well as the polls but it is tedious. You need 80,000 points for a £15 Amazon voucher which sounds a lot but you can get up to 10,000 on surveys although usually nearer 2 -3,000.

Just got £10 Amazon voucher from Shop and Scan and ordered x2 £5 Amazon vouchers from MySurvey as well. :j Will email Toluna tomorrow about the still undelivered Amazon voucher as it will be 8 weeks since I ordered it.

Oh, forgot to say I did my Blast Off DVD again today - x2 10 min workouts and my stomach muscles are feeling it!

Also made myself a strawberry pin cushion but it's a bit of a lopsided/mutant strawberry. :rotfl: Looked again at my knitting, threw a paddy and phoned my mum to ask why the patterns are written in a foreign language!! I have no patience for it!

Thinking of your mum Sashby, hope it all finally gets sorted out soon. Sounds as though she's been in the wars a little.
Thanks for the heads up on Toluna, think I'll give it a blast

Thanks sazzle, yes my mum has been a bit unlucky with her health and seems to catch everything going.

Went round to see my mum yesterday and she seems fine, just a bit tired. Had already emailed her the link for the knitting pattern and she explained it to me but will still have to call when I get stuck! Saw my friend who is quite an experienced knitter as well and she adjusted it a bit for me as the cushion I want the cover for is bigger than the one the pattern is for. So will try and do a bit every day if I can.

My stomach muscles have been killing me all weekend after doing that Blast Off Belly Fat DVD. I suppose that means it's working and I've been doing the exercises properly though (I hope). Have taken a break this weekend and will start again tomorrow - think I'm due another episode of Shred.

Managed to strip the bed and wash the sheets today, put clean sheets on, clean out the cat litter and empty the bin (all with OH's help). Oh also did some filing and looked in despair at the shredding pile.

Tomorrow I need to buy sugar, take books back to the library and do the ironing (groan). Also need to think of something I can make for dinner with what we have in.

Had a couple of friends round in the afternoon today for an hour or two, just had a cup of tea and a gab with them.

Have been out to the library and back and remembered to get sugar as well. Also posted the claim form for the health policy I have through work as can claim money back for certain treatments up to a set amount each year - in this case the money spent at the chiropractor for my back. :j

Did Shred when I got back and one of the 10 min workouts from the Blast Off DVD as well. Think I will be able to move up to level 2 in Shred as level 1 isn't killing me. Planning to do Shred 3 times a week and 2 of the Blast Off workouts on the days inbetween, alternating between different ones. Will just have to try and keep it up which will be more difficult when tired from work.

Not got much else planned for today except a bit of knitting and maybe sewing, just want to relax before going back to work on Wednesday.

Emailed Toluna about not receiving my voucher and it being over 8 weeks now. Their brilliant response was that it's still processing, there's been a hold-up due to "unforeseen circumstances" and that the order to the supplier hasn't been made yet. Oh and they can't give me a date when I will receive it! Wonderful. So every excuse all at once then. :rotfl:

Have had a very lazy day so far, finished a book in bed with a cup of tea and have been browsing the internet for a while now. Will need to get some exercise done and then want to make another strawberry pin cushion.

Think I will do some more knitting later while catching up with programmes I've recorded so at least I'm getting something done. Actually need to do the ironing as well, so might do that instead. Have already put another washing in which is nearly finished.

Made a microwave jam sponge yesterday for after dinner and had it with custard which was yum. Still have half left for tonight which is good (for my sweet tooth if not my waistline :o).

Need to try and remember to read and rate on Dooyoo as only need another £5 worth of points to get a £20 Amazon voucher. Even if I just do it for 10 mins a day it would make a difference.

Have done two of the 10 min workouts on the Blast Off DVD and found it hard going. :o Am just doing a bit of reading and rating on Dooyoo before doing the ironing.

One of my neighbours is playing the most godawful music extremely loudly. The bass is coming through to my flat and it's really annoying me! Some people have no consideration. Main problem is that it's been happening more and more often lately at all times of the day and night. Not even sure who it is as could be below us or the block to the side of us - I think it's coming from the next building (today anyway). The poor cats aren't very happy about it either. :(

Managed to get the ironing done yesterday and also wrote a new review for Ciao and posted another on Dooyoo. Made another strawberry pin cushion and it was better than the first but still a bit wonky. :D

Back to work today for 7 late shifts, oh the joy. Got up and did Shred level 2 this morning and it was knackering. :o Have had my bath and just need to get organised for work later and hang up a washing.

Have progressed a bit with the knitting but am still very slow - think it will take me 6 months to make one cushion cover. :rotfl:

OH and I were naughty and had Domino's two for Tuesday last night as well. Then we watched Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. Those dresses were something else!

Having some trouble with the hand weights I ordered online as they still haven't appeared. Checked with the company I ordered them from and they said there had been an attempt at delivery, here's the courier no, phone them and rearrange. Not very impressed as no cards have been left - checked the tracking number and there were apparently three attempted deliveries - but on two of those I was in and no one pressed the buzzer/knocked the door with a delivery.

Can't really rearrange as will be working for the next 7 days and the courier companies expect you to sit in and wait all day. Can't even get it delivered to my work. Feel like cancelling the blooming order altogether.
