Sashybo - Stray thoughts amongst the wilderness of debt

Off work so having a relaxing day today and plan on going out with my mum tomorrow.
Have put my second washing on today and have done some surveys as well although still in my pyjamas. Waiting on some things I'd ordered online so hoping they'll be delivered today whilst I'm in the house. Also have a Tesco delivery coming later, then an appointment at the chiropractor.
Might try some sewing or knitting today but just depends how I feel. Just catching up with programmes recorded on the Sky+ box and setting up recording for all the new series' starting (Glee, Grey's Anatomy and 90210 - I think I'm still a teenager at heart
).
Think I will make chicken casserole with dumplings for dinner and maybe make an onion tart for tomorrow if I have time.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Stopped watching 90210 last series though, thought it was just a bit OTT!!NSD -5/20

Went into town with my mum today and had a good look about. Only bought some birthday cards and wrapping paper though. Returned some presents that OH didn't want and got credit vouchers/gift cards instead.
The things I've ordered online still haven't arrived in the post so hoping they will come soon. One of the things is part of OH's birthday present and the other is part of his mum's birthday present. Also ordered a basket from ebay to keep my sewing/knitting stuff in. No sign of any of them. *sigh*
Managed to make the chicken casserole last night and also onion quiche which we can have tonight. Haven't done any knitting or sewing but need to get back into both as miss doing it. Think I will make myself a pin cushion to start with and need help to decipher the knitting pattern for my cushion covers.
Really feeling tired and not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow for 7 days.

:rotfl: Yes Mr Schu scares me when he dances. My mum loves him though! :rotfl: OH vacates the room as soon as I decide to watch Glee - he hates it!
I like the OTT'ness of 90210. :rotfl: It's an escape from reality!
I :heart2: Grey's Anatomy though and so does OH. :rotfl: Was far too happy that it was back on last night.

Feeling so tired - only 6 more 5am starts to go.
Went and bought some 3/4 length trousers and a vest top for over my sports bra so I can *think* about getting back to doing Shred. The top was only £4 but the trousers were £16.99 since they were fancy Nike ones.
I've put on a bit of weight around my stomach and feel so tired all the time. I know I need to start Shred again as I'm so unfit and lazy but am not looking forward to the pain.
Need to buy some decent hand weights as well but don't want to spend a lot on them. Probably a subconscious way of procrastinating even more.
Had two cards through the door today when I got home from work - I knew the things I'd ordered would be delivered when I wasn't in! One card was for 2 parcels they'd tried to deliver yesterday and one was for one today. OH will be sent to collect them from the sorting office tomorrow when I'm at work.
Really need to do some ironing - a big pile is sitting on my dining table looking at me and I have another full load in the machine. Ironing was invented by the devil - why did I start doing it again?! No one ever told me I looked creased!

The 30 Day Shred - I found out all about it by lurking on one of Hypno's diaries.
She had everyone giving it a go, quite a few padders as well. :rotfl:
It's basically a 20 min work out that you're meant to do every day for 30 days. It's a killer but it really does work, which is why I need to start doing it again instead of thinking about it.

I am nowhere near fit enough for Shred, also do you need a fair amount of space? I seem to remember there were things like sit ups, in which case there's not enough room!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Yes gilli, there are abs sections as well as the cardio and strength. I could do with more room when doing it tbh as have to move my coffee table and the smaller couch so that I have enough room and can see the tv. Can be a bit of a pain.
When I was doing Shred before I was quite worried that people could see in my window (3rd floor flat, no curtains/blinds). There is a bingo place across from us and I'm sure the employees standing outside gazing in the direction of my window were just out having a smoke or something. Please let them have been out smoking and *not* watching me exercise. Thing is they always seemed to do it when I was doing Shred....:rotfl: Paranoid, moi? That also put me off shredding every day. :rotfl:
I'm not fit at all which is why I'm a mess by the end of the workout. :rotfl: When I was doing it before I ached really badly for the first three days - woke up in the mornings all stiff and sore which was not pleasant but at least it showed the exercise was working! I've seen a few people (mostly on Hypno's diary) saying that you need to warm up and cool down longer than they do on the dvd.
Well I ordered some 1kg hand weights online so just need to wait for them to be delivered. Then I will be doing :j with Shred. _pale_
I've also ordered the Blast off Belly Fat (charming title) dvd that macgirl was talking about on her diary as I like the sound of the 10 minute workouts. My stomach is the area where most of my weight seems to go so seems a good idea.
Would also like to start doing Pilates again as find it quite helpful for my back and knees. Might look into a dvd for that as well but will see how I get on with re-starting the exercise first!
It snowed again last night.
Luckily it was quite a light covering - just hoping it doesn't snow again tonight.
Finally got my basket that I ordered just after Christmas as OH picked up the parcels for me. :T It smells a bit damp (yuck) so will need to air it before putting anything in it. Don't know if it's just because it was wrapped up and sitting around various sorting offices. On the other hand it looks nice and a good size for my sewing and knitting stuff to be bunged into (instead of piled in the corner next to the bookcase
).
Shift 2 of 7 finished today so only 5 more 5am starts to go until my days off. :TSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,345, Car loan CC 0% BT £4900. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Right! Now I'm understanding. Had been reading lots of reviews about the DVD but hadn't put the two together!!! I don't have the motivation to do DVDs - need a friend to bully me into going for a run or to the gym!! Well done for being so motivated:j
