I haven't seen anyone at the hospital since my post-op check in July and he was quite happy then. I was too, as any dodgy tummy episodes I was just putting down to post-op recovery. 6 months on and it's getting a bit irritating (to say the least!)
As for ex hub, yes we're getting on fine now which is just really good for the girls. He and my bro in law are pals again (they've been great mates since age 16), and actually, as was my sis and bro in laws idea, he's coming on holiday with us - in his own room I hasten to add!!!! It's good for the girls, he gets to be on holiday with them too, good for me having someone else to amuse them and good for bro in law having another man around. Might sound weird to people, but we can get on fine in a friendly way, nothing else, so it'll be fine:D

I'm hoping it's just the recuperation, not the Crohn's sneaking back, but am not too sure. Just seems mad for my insides to still be so unpredictable. I really don't want steroids again much as they make me feel fab. I've got my face back after having chubby cheeks from steroids beofre and my weight is well down, that comes from dodgy tummy I guess!!
Girls have a cheerleading competition in a month and I was meant to be going to help do everyone's hair, going on the coach with them. But I don't think I can do it - the thought of being out for such a long day is a bit much, I feel safer nearer home:o

  • Just done all of the ironing, now having a quick sit down and catch up on here while I watch the end of Casualty from last night.

I'm going to have a mad half an hour tidying up and getting the place in order so I can relax to do my uni work - can't start when things need doing...really mad but I won't settle when there's a mess:D

Girls are back around 5 and will have had their dinner so I just need to sort myself. Not usually hungry and I worry that the more I eat, the worse my insides get. But, have gone to 8st9ish now (which is fine and I like:o), but not much more lower or I'll have no clothes to fit:D
There, Casualty finished so off to put the ironing away and do a whizz about for 30mins.

I don't think it's mad at all, milly. It's all about a state of mind getting organised and prepared. Good luck with the planning. You should be fine once you get started and if you can do a bit in the evenings this week it'll be finished in no time. 2000 words is only about 7 sides of A4 in handwriting and part of that will be quoting references:rotfl:

My meal plan for this week:

Fri: pasta carbonara (my version with philly, bacon and mushrooms)
    Sat: beef curry
Sun: Snap! roast chicken with veg
    Mon: stir fry
Tues: sweet and sour pork (this is a casserole version with beansprouts in and served with rice)
Wed: smoked haddock with wedges and green beans
    Thu: cottage pie
  • Milly I think that's great for you all to get on so well and how cool for the girls.

  • Just nipped home from work for lunch and a quick tidy up that I didn't have time for this morning!
Feel a bit better today, though now I've had lunch i can feel my tum being uncomfortable - better not to eat but cant really do that:o

Have just emailed Asda with a few moans about my delivery - a few unavailable items that I find hard to belive there were no substitutions at all. Also salami ordered thats due up tomorrow:mad: So only fit for dd's sarnies for 2 days...not good enough. Hopefully I'll get a couple of refunds.

After work I'm going to scoot home and get the chicken in the oven for tonight's roast, then scoot back out to buy bday cards for my niece, get petrol and a few bits in T's that Asda couldnt manage:D

£2.40ish from Quidco today:rotfl: I'm waiting for £50 for my home insurance, had it since Sept so hopefully it'll validate and pay out soon. Not much else awaiting.

Returned my duplicated perfume parlour order to get the money back, also Lovefilm dvd gone back and cancelled them - had the dvd since mid-dec and not watched...just dont get round to it so a waste of money.

Ok, better get back to work:p

Hope your tummy feels better soon. At least you have an appointment coming up so you can discuss any worries with your consultant.
It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :j
