So, NSD today and yesterday - I did buy a few bits of groceries, but out of the grocery account, no more than £4 in total.
Some of my ebay goodies are ending tonight - so far I've sold a pair of my old trainers for £10, dd1's bag went for £46:eek::eek: and dd2's bag is on £27 and nearly finished:D I have 1 more item tonight ending and then a handful more tomorrow night. All good:D
I've almost finished the essay...i think it's carp, but at least it's done, and I'm sure it'll pass...mind you, I've yet to rewrite it :Don Friday so best not get too excited:rotfl:
I am loving my tv in my room...and my new duvet - it's all fat and fluffy, I feel very cosy now. Worth the £39 for the tv to get working and £6.60 for the duvet;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
How old were the trainers? I have a pair of MBTs that I don't wear that I might list....
Lovely to have a nice cosy bedroom in this weather. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Well I bought them when we lived in our other house...and think I was still married then so must have been over 5 years ago! They were nice Diesel ones, not had much wear - I just kept them thinking one day I'd wear them but after about 4 years of being in the cupboard I though they can go:rotfl:
So yes, list yours...may as well if you don't wear them!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

I only like snow if it gives us an unexpected day off school...otherwise it's just a complete pain:o I'd be happy for the coldness to go if only to save my heating bills!
Yes we are nearly neighbours! I'm spitting distance from the M5 just south of the bridge.0 -
Another NSD to add to the collection:j I did spend about £5 in the co-0p on a few bits - cling film, bacon, bread and tomato puree. All completely run out and needed bacon and tom puree to go in tonight's dinner so couldn't hang on til the big shop.
I posted a few ebay parcels and the other 2 buyers have paid up this afternoon so will wrap their goodies and send tomorrow. I have 6 things ending tonight - all have bids except one:D
Onepoll is driving me mad - only 4 surveys over the course of the day - screened out of 3, so managed 10p today:o £30.90 - i'll be Christmas by the time I hit £40 at this rate. I did do a mysurvey one for 80points - on 310points there.
I've finished the darn essay - have just done my reference list and need to colour match the references to the quotes to save wasting words on authors names in my valuable 250 words of notes:) I need to actually get it into 250 words now...then read and read a few hundred times:rotfl:
Roll on half term:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yup - I've promised to take the boys down to the pier next Friday as it's youngests' birthday and we've not been on the pier properly since it was re-built.0

Morning all...half term has arrived:beer:
I have felt rubbish though for the last few days so haven't had the energy to feel much excitement:o Sore throat, cold etc..I couldn't do the essay yesterday but am goingon Tuesday morning. It's all written, I just need to get my 250 words of notes sorted and then read the essay a few hunded times:D
This week has been uneventful...lots of NSDs and a few good ebay sales. All parcels were posted off, just 1 item left on there for sale. I should have a rummage around for some more things to list but we really are running out! DD2 does have her Nintendo ds to sell and lots of games so will get that done for her.
I came home and slept after work yesterday so no food shopping - I started to do it online yesterday but to:cool: have it come tomorrow was £6 with T's:eek: or £2.50 with the A's 8hour slot...which was fine but A's didnt have a few of the things I wanted so I just gave up and will go myslef to T's tomorrow and use the £5 off voucher I have from last week - that's the sensible option:D
Girls are off to their dad's tonight until tomorrow night, so 2 nights of no cooking:j pizza and oven chips tonight and cottage pie tomorrow for me - from freezer, easy peasy. I need to give the house a jolly good clean and idy as the letting agent are doing their regular check on Monday afternoon...that's one way of getting the house sorted for half term;)
Ok, my sausages are ready - time for a sarnie:TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
After another lie in I'm feeling more human and not full of cold. Once I'd been up a few hours yesterday I felt exhausted and just grotty so had a lazy afternoon, pottering about. Managed to watch the double episode Casualty from weeks ago that I missed. Just 3 or 4 more on the Sky planner to watch;)
Girls at their dad's so I enjoyed a night on the sofa, bed early and read for a couple of hours - I was determined to finish my book which I managed - i read 'Before I go to Sleep' which is one of the tv book club ones. It was definitely a page turner, would recommend it:D
So today's plan is - get tidying some more, then go to T's, more tidying up then girls will be back. I looked at T's online shopping again yesterday but then thought no - I can't pay £6 delivery and not be able to use my £5 off voucher - so it'll save me £11 by going to the shop, much as I can't be bothered to go out:o
Ok - tidying til 1.30 I think, then a bit of lunch and off I go out. Let's see how much I can do in just over an hour:D:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
The answer is I can do quite a bit in just over an hour:T
I had a good tidy of the girls room, dusted, hoovered and made it look a lot more attractive:D I tidied my room, hoovered and dusted most of it. Sorted out a lot of clothes - I had cardigans all hanging on the back of the door, a few dressing gowns too - not very neat. So moved the hanging thingy inside the wardrobe door and its much better.
Wiped lots of grubby fingerprints and general marks off the walls (that makes it sound like we were filthy but it wasnt that bad!) - just a good clean needed. I've gone back and forward throughout the house just returning things to homes - honestly, there are hair grips and earrings everywhere, they're multiplying! I forget how much I enjoy the house when everything is tidy and there's less clutter. Shame it takes a letting agent visit for me to pull my finger out and tidy properly:o
I have just had a cup-a-soup and some crackers, I guess I should go to T's now. I was tempted to put it off til tomorrow but should use my £5 off voucher which is due up today.I really need to sort out a new signature!0
