Oooooh I've been awol for ages:o

On the good side though I have been a very good little MSE-er and haven't lost the plot or anything, just having a fit of the 'can't-be-bothereds':rotfl:

So - have had many NSDs, grocery spends have been mainly all I'v bought. The last 2 weekends have both been spent at home, no shopping:D So, I saved £50 from one week of tax credits and £70 the following week. I've walked to work most days so only put petrol in yesterday, the last time was about 2 1/2 weeks before.

DD1's laptop is in the repairer and should be ready any time - sadly at a cost of £100ish. DD2's went in but the screen needs replacing and he quoted me £200+ So, have the laptop back and it's connected to our old monitor and she's using it at the dining table like that for now:) I do know an oniline repiar company my friend used who'll collect, repair and deliver for £100 - will do that soon.

I've made about £170 from ebay recently with more ending tonight...at the moment those items will fetch about £40:) So really, the ebay money will pay for the laptops. I had intended ebay money to be Xmas funds, but needs must I guess. Frustrating though spending my hard earned ebay cash on laptop repairs:o

I'm staying in all weekend, I did the grocery shopping last night, £61 spent. Got lots of good deals...cheese 3 for the price of 1...we have 4 blocks of cheese now in the fridge:p

DDs are eating out tonight with ex so saves me cooking and nice for them. They'll be back afterwards so still get a bit of company.

Still not done the contents insurance..is it worth it? Only ever claimed once, when a tv got scratched by a falling curtain pole:rotfl: I might have to have it in my tenancy...will check.

    Morning...is anybody still around here??!?:p

So, Sunday morning on the sofa with the laptop and a cuppa, lovely. The girls are at CenterP*arks with their dad and his family, so I'm sure they're having a fab time. I went to see my Mum yesterday as it was her birthday - we didn't go out, so I spent zero:D I bought her a set of shiny round tealight holders from Argos, a Sanctuary gift set (Boots sale in January;)) and a bunch of flowers.

The week has been low spending so far - I returned a load of stuff from NewL00k in Tuesday and just bought dd2 some much needed underwear. Oh, and I bought myslef a new pair of slippers for £6.

So - i have plenty to do today. I was tempted to stay in bed reading my book but need to be busy:D I shall post my list to keep me on track:
    • Go up attic and bring down winter clothes and a coat
    • take up attic the few bits of summer clothes hanging in dd's wardrobe
    • write shopping list to go with the week's meal plan
    • hoover whole house
    • tidy the place - getting untidy
    • ironing
    • school/college work - must be done ready for a small group I'm working with tomorrow
    • ebay - get a few more bits photographed/listed
Ok - ironing is first to be done - while watching Something for the Weekend on bbc2 in a mo:p

Ahhhhh ladies...thank you for showing your faces:D

I've been so rubbish at posting here recently that I wouldn't be surprised if everyone had given up on me:rotfl:

That's the ironing done - piles of school shirts, I hate them. But we all have clothes for the week now, so that's a relief:o I've been up the attic and brought down the last bag of autumn/winter stuff - dd2 was moaning that she had no long sleeved tops the other day...she now has a couple. They will need new stuff soon though, arghhh more money. New L00k have 20% off online orders this weekend though, so I shall look later. She definitely needs joggers and basic tops - why do these kids have to grow??:rotfl:

I have a washing on as it was sunny and blowy outside...of course, now the washing is on it is looking dull out there...hopefully it'll get dried out there though. I hate having the airer up in the house, there's no room, it looks really ugly sat there:D

I had a letter from PC W0rld yesterday, saying do I want to extend the warranty on my desktop pc as it runs out in a few weeks. Now...the desktop pc stopped working last winter so I packed it off up the attic - completely forgetting I had paid for extended warranty;) So - really pleased, I shall get it taken in soon and fixed for free:beer: Not sure I need it in the house, we just don't have the space, although I'd like to - I do like having a desltop to use, not just a laptop. i shall think about if there's anywhere it could be squeezed in:D

I'm just about to dust and hoover downstairs, then I can crack on with the stuff for school/college. I have a subject for my research project at long last so need to do some evaluation of the assessments I did in school on Friday, ready to start the small group programme tomorrow.

Perfect timing! I just packed the whole pc off up the attic when it wouldn't work, thinking I'd pay to get it fixed one day if I really needed it. So glad I had the reminder from them...I won't be wasting the money I spent nearly 3 years ago on the extended warranty:D

I've sorted all the stuff for the group work and finished the assessments...the work can start and hopefully we'll have a big increase in the scores at the end of it:D

I really can't be bothered to go round to the shop...I shall rustle something up for my dinner with whatever i can find. Luckily I don't have to cook the girls a meal tonight, just me. I have bread and ham so can still do dd2 a packed lunch!

I think I should go and get some bits photographed for ebay, only got a few things on there that aren't really shifting - a pile of dd1s DS games, but no one seems to want them:o

yes - good plan - off to sell stuff:j

Oooops, I spent £2.20 on lunch today:o I didn't have anything to take in and thought maybe I'd come home for lunch, but I'm low in petrol so stayed at work and nipped to tesc0 for a sarnie and crisps.

I've just been to the local shops and spent £11 on stuff for the next few days. I'll go to T's on Friday afternoon when I finish work early, so must hang on til then.

Otherwise I spent £5 on my staff fund - pay that 3 times ayear to cover pressies etc for people...hmmmm, but I have to pay:o

Just recieved £3 for a P*cone survey and the 2 items I listed on ebay have bids:beer:

Think I should walk to work for the rest of the week so I can make my little bit of petrol last til I go to T's on Friday - we shall see eh?!:)

Ooooh one of my ebay items has 27 watchers with 8 days to go:beer: I don't think I've ever had that many watchers one something...fingers crossed for lots of mad bidding!!

So, another quiet day - busy, busy at work as usual:o My friend drove there so had a lift there and home, and I remembered to take a roll...though I did succumb to a can of diet coke to go with it, whoops.

I just nipped to the local shops - spend about £6 - bread, my lactose free milk, lockets (poor dd1 feels ill and has sore throat), razors, reduced caramel shortbreads and donuts for pud tonight. I was tempted to nip to big T's but I want to wait until my grocery account is back to it's full 4weeks worth of money (right now I have £25 left in it and £240 will go in on Thurs). I also need petrol - was going to just walk to work until Fri when I go to T's but I'm going to take dd1 to school in the morn as she has art coursework to carry and the 3 boards are very big - she'd probably lose it in this windy weather! So I just put £10 petrol in at the local (expensive) garage.

Otherwise I gave dd2 £1 for a maths set at school, 70p on the diet coke and the remaining 65p in my purse will last til Thurs - tax credit day. Will take a drink to work tomorrow.

Dinner is on - just spag bol. DD2 out with a friend and dd1 upstairs feeling ropey - maybe she wont go to school tomorrow so that'll save me driving anyway:)
