    Afternoon all:cool:
Yes, we're back from our lovely week away - weather was just glorious, not a cloud in the sky. It was a busy, lively hotel and lots of food and drink for us;) Girls had a fab time and want to go back next year:D

So, back to normal again:o We did manage to bring back some euros - all changed back - dd1 had £20, dd2 £10 and £15 for me - not bad I thought. Washing is all done...ironing pile not too scary luckily.

I managed to get a few bits on ebay yesterday - about 8 items. 1 has sold today, something of dd2's so I owe her £4.50. Hopefully the bits that will make me money will sell!

DD2 and I nipped to town today so I could return a playsuit I bought dd1 for hol that she didn't wear - so £18 better off back in my bank;) I also got dd2 some school shoes for £16, a top for myslef in the sale for £5, reduced from £22:T DD bought herself a top too for £8 reduced from £20-odd...bargains. We both had a drink, paid for parking and came home. Girls are off to see their dad tomorrow morning til Tues lunchtime so 2 cheap days for me. I need to do a mealplan and go to Tesco for some bits and to return some cheap sandals I bought the day before we went away - 3 pairs for £5.50 I think:rotfl: We kept 2 pairs at £2 each...they're really nice too:p

So, dinner's in the oven - lasagne tonight. Tomorrow I can please myself, then need to decide for the rest of the week what to have. I have very full freezers so must use what we have.

Hope all of you are well:A

Sounds like you had a lovely time. Well doen for coming back with money. I blew all my outstanding euros on perfume at the airport before we came home :o

I bought perfume at duty free at the airport when we left;) It's a tradition, buying perfume before we go - then that perfume reminds me of my holiday afterwards:D

So, a quiet day here. I had the joy of a smear test first thing (but I'm glad I've done it and stopped putting it off for so long:o). I then came home and chased the girls into the shower to get ready for going to their dad. I nipped out and got a few bits in Tesco and petrol. Spent £11 on groceries and £30 in the car.

I dropped girls over to their dad at lunchtime and have just had a lazy afternoon since. My tum's been a bit ropey so I had a lie on the sofa, caught up with last week's Eastenders:D I did feel lazy then so emptied the 2 drawers in the lounge coffee table - chucked out a load of stuff.

Suppose I should eat now...didn't realise it was so late. Tomorrow will be another quiet day, girls will be back after lunch though to give me some company:)

I need to ring up Sky soon and cancel one of the variety packs we have...I spend far too much on Sky each month. I have a Lovefilm subscription too that I barely use which seems daft. Must chase these bits up while I'm off work.

Right, time to go and eat.

    3 more items on ebay:D

I seem to have money on the brain now - I need to save more of it. It's hit me that I have no extra money coming in this year, no student money like I have for the last 2:( Things like Christmas, holiday etc are on my mind and I really need to focus on my spending - I guess it'll be much, much easier once we're back at school. It'd help if that darn ex would get a job and give me money - had none since May:mad::mad:
