£14.45 on Onepoll - hopefully I'll make the magic £40 before Xmas:D
Been checking mysurvey lots too - need 100 points for a £10 voucher - will use Amazon, then that'll pay for my niece's pressie that's in my Amazon basket:) £6.50 on Valued Opinions.
So, a quiet day here - girls are with their dad, just playing wii games for the afternoon, home for dinner so I don't escape cooking sadly.
I have listed more on ebay - I emptied a box that's been hiding under the stairs since we moved in (3years ago:o) - I keep throwing ebay bits in. Have slung a few bits in a bag for jumble and listed some more. Have a pile to do in the next day or so too - don't want it all ending on the same day:D
7 listings end tonight - dd2's boots are on £35:eek: We paid £55 for the new ones so in the end it might not be a huge difference;).
I've done no college work that I planned - maybe I'll have a look now while girls are out. I need to plan (and write) an essay on team working...yuk. It's a timed essay that I have to do in college with only 250words as notes. I'm meant to do it nect Fri...but can see me postponing it, I am rubbish;)
I just ordered my sis and bro in law an anniversary card from funky pigeon - using a 50% code. I had £8 credit there too, so used that to pay the £1.50 for my card...feel like I got a free card. Its a funny one - a photo of them noth on the front, in a love heart..haha, they'll love me for that:rotfl:
I nipped to the shop...spent £5 on potatoes, carrots, kiwi, bread and milk. Hooray for tax credits in tomorrow, I wont feel quite so poor:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
My 27 free photos arrived today:beer: So, I have a few extras to put in frames for Xmas pressies. And got dd2 some copies of a lovely black and white photo of her and her 3 besties - thought she could give them all a framed one for Xmas too - its a lovely photo.
Christmas is becoming rather organised for me;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
£64 on eBay tonight - woop woop!
The boots sold for £41 so it means I only spent £14 on ds's new ones in the end:beer:
Pleased with those sales - that was 7 items...lots more to go later this week:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
The 3 items that ended last night on ebay made me £14, it's all adding up:beer:
Nothing much going on today - youngest has gone to the cinema with her friends...so gave her £5 as that was all I had on me, and will give her another £5 later to cover the bus and lunch too. I haven't done anything with them this week, so I am happy to pay for the cinema for her. She has £10 of her own money but doesnt want to spend it - i hope she doesnt waste it anyway:o
Pay day today - so bank account looks healthy for now;) Unfortunately it's all accounted for so though it looks like I have lots to spend, I need it there to cover the rent and bills etc.
I must get a meal plan done for next week. Asda kindly texted me yesterday to say they've added a free delivery code to my account, so will use that for my next shop - need to decide whether to do it soon or next weekend. i think I should try use what we have in - which must be a fair bit as I've done 2 £70 shops recently. That's the best option - no big shop this week, will do one for next weekend.
Ok, I must go and sort some work for school...as well as contemplate the essay I should be doing:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Just rang the CSA...as not heard from them for a while and not had a penny from numpty ex since May:mad:
Apparently he's over £2k in arrears:eek: He's daft because he hasnt told them he hasn't been working for a couple of months so the last assessment still stands...what an idiot;) Obviously I won't get all that from him - I just want him to realise that he can't just pay me as and when he feels like...and paying for his kids shouldn't be bottom of his list of outgoings:mad:
I gave the very helpful lady his mobile number...:rotfl: Hopefully he'llanswer the phone and explain himself, though I won't hold my breath:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
That's the broken computer tower being picked up on Tuesday - repaired for free, woo:beer: Good job I remembered the cover I'd paid for really:o
I now want the pc back at a desk somewhere though - after getting rid of the desk and putting a cupboard in it's space...we have no room now:o
Hmmm, not sure what to do, but I do fancy the desktop pc back up and running. Grrrrrr I want a bigger house:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Afternoon:p
I've been on B00ts website this morning and ordered a Christmas pressie for myself - from my Mum though, she didn't mind;) It's a perfume offer this week - £15 from £25...one of my favourites and very pleased as the bottle I have was bought on holiday in 2007 and I think it's gone off now:o Doesn't smell like it used to! I also ordered a bottle of perfume for my eldest niece which was £10 from £20 - one of the little Harajuku doll bottles, they look lovely on the dressing table.
Pressies for the family are coming on - just bro in law, stepdad and ex (from the girls) to buy now. Also my friend and her 2 children, so I'm quite happy with that.
I do need to get started buying bits and bobs for my 2 though...haven't got much at all - just socks from Next sale, a polo shirt for dd2 and manicure set for her. Oh, and the Harry P mini jigsaw for dd1 that I need to pick up in Tesco.
I'm nipping toT's to get a few bits and petrol later so will collect the jigsaw then.
My H&M jacket arrived today - but the lining in the arm is all twisted so when you put it on your arm doesn't come out the other end:o If you fiddle a bit then it doesn, but it'll annoy me - sold out in my size online so will see if the shop in town has them tomorrow to swap one. If not I'll see if I can snip the lining at the seam, move it and restitch. I have a jumper I got in Topshop sale to return tomorrow too - was £18 and i love it, but got a 12 as there was no 10, and it is just a bit big...so will have the money back.
The letting agents are doing a check on Tuesday so need to get all neat and tidy. I've cleaned the kitchen, need to do the bathroom but will leave it til tomorrow. I have a few bits to go up the attic and my room is a bit messy.
I ordered some boots from next online - 4 pairs:eek: But I am only keeping 1...they are £65, but lovely of course:o Brown, chunky ankle boots, bit of a heel - great with jeans. I do only have 1 pair of day time boots so I really could do with another pair. So £65 added on to my account:(
I have done my meal plan for next week and the shopping list for the week - it's very small, I must stick to it and not spend a lot in T's:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Next weeks meal plan:
Mon - Lasagne and garlic toast
Tues - Nigella's chicken cacciatore (sp??)
Wed - Pork steaks, roast pots, veg and yorkies
Thurs - Jacket pots, chicken and spag hoops / spag bol from freezer for dd1
Fri - Chicken chow mein, noodles and prawn crackers
Sat - wraps/pitta chicken and hm wedges
Sun - beef stew, mash and dumplingsI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Morning to anyone out there:j
I'm just enjoying my bit of time at home before I start work at 11.
I've got more ebay sales to post today. DD1 has earnt herself £26 from 2 items, she's very pleased with that. I'll walk to work in half an hour and post them then.
Onepoll up to £17.15 and redeemed £10 worth of points on mysurvey yesterday - Amazon voucher on tis way:beer: All I've spent this week is on postage for my ebay sales. On Sunday I nipped to the out of town shops and bought dd1 some card and paper for her art homework, £5 in the Range. In Boots I bought a few bits we needed for about £7 - 3 for 2...got a £5 No7 voucher so trotted off and bought dd1 some face powder for Xmas, also got both girls a new electric toothbrush for Xmas (half price at £17 each). Got another no7 voucher so bought myself a lovely nail varnish for £2.
I started doing my Asda shopping online for Sautruday delivery as they sent me a free code - but then I saw it expires tomorrow..grrrr:mad: So, I'll just trot off to T's on Friday afternoon...I'm not that desperate to buy from Asda that I'll pay delivery:D
House is nice and tidy as the agents did a periodoc check yesterday...so that's lovely.
Oooh - just seen a Paypal message pop up on my phone to say I've received £14...a buy it now must have just sold..woopwoop:beer:
Off to wrap it up and post then!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Yesterday was an NSD, as was the day before - well, just spends on ebay postage which don't count;)
Spends account is looking better again as just transferred some of tax credits in for the week. Hoping to not need petrol until next Thurs.
Today should be an NSD too - I'm going to walk to work so saving petrol there. I will need to nip out later though and post the ebay sales from last night. DD1's coat from last winter sold for £16, really unexpected, very pleased:D
Altogether on ebay, in the last 60 days I've sold £400 worth of stuff...I didn't realise it was that much:beer: Such a shame that I had to use £200 on fixing the girls' laptops:( But the other £200 will help with Xmas.
Ok, better get ready - have a good day:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
