Evening all, hell of a day again :( felt ok when went to bed last night but woke up this morning to more tum pain which has lasted all day. Tum very tender which is a prob when surrounded by kids who like to hug. Struggled to eat as pain affects appetite. Then had after school training til 6.30 :(. All in all a very painful day.

    So food today:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, toms, melon, activia, 2x sponge finger [2] [took some effort to eat this]
T - goulash [.5] with added veg [carrot, sprouts, broccolli, cabbage, onion, peas], rice, b/sauce [1] need to alter quantites next time as didn't put enough herbs/spices in for size of slowcook so didn't taste of much hence the b/sauce .
Snack - pineapple, melon, onken, meringue [3]
    Syns - 6.5

Hope tomorrows a better day :o

Do hope you have felt better today, it's miserable, isn't it.
  • Morning.
Right I need to confess I was naughty last night and had 3 bars of choc 32.5syns:eek: what makes it worse they were from my girls selection boxes.(they don't like the ones I had) I don't know what got into me I didn't need them. Just worked out I have 1 syn left till thur morning. So far I have got back on track today not sure wether to do EE or green I like cheese and I think doing green I might stay on track. I think maybe I was just feeling sorry for myself. Been ill on and off since begining of Dec, joined gym could only do bikes and walk due to shoulders and then went and broke my toe so cant go at min. DH gone back offshore and DD started school yesterday.
Right now I have written it down and shared it thats it new day.
    Sorry for rant.
    Well done trixietoes:T

Morning all! I'm sooo tired, I'm really drtuggling to sleep at the minute. Iwas awake from 2.30am this morning, I did eventually get back to sleep but I was awake for well over 2hrs!! I haven't got time (or space in the living room) to do my exercise DVD tonight as I have my wedding invitaions to finish off (which are spread all over the floor, hence the lack of space!) so I've found myself a little walk around plant that takes 15 mins, I plan to do it 4 times today so I'll have had my 1hour of exercise!!

I'm going for a green day today:

    Brekkie:Porridge (HEA&B)
Snack - 10 grapes and an apricot
Lunch - small jacket spud, HM coleslaw (1), lettuce, toms, cuc, gerkins, fat free dressing, yogurt mixed berries.
Tea - salmon (HEB), new potatoes with herbs, salad or veg
    snacks - more fruit
Other HEA - milk in tea

Right, I'm away for another circuit of my little walk!!!
  • Morning all.
I'm going for a green day today :D
Put in a cardi that a few weeks ago was tight now it fits perfectly! :j
I'm hoping for a loss this week, it's hard when having a big loss one week cos I then convince myself that there is no way I could loose this week too :o

Oh that link I posted earlier, if anyone of facebook wants to add me as a friend go ahead, I set the profile up specifically like a blog type thing.

    Good morning all

Thought I would pop in before I get back to some more fettling-Im on a roll biggrin.gif

well done on the losses folks :j -and hope that those feeling under the weather are on the mend soon..

on the subject of water -Im aware that I probably drink more than most -but I have checked it out with the GP years ago after everyone thinking I might be diabetic, but I wasn't and the GP just said that my body will let me know how much its needs and as long as I wasn't knocking back pints of water on purpose for any strange "diet/fad" kind of reason then I should just carry on..
I have to say that if I drink less than 4lt a day(Im usually about 6lts to be honest) I get blinding headaches, but the Drs know why that is.. I remember when I used to go for regular lumbar punctures they used to make me stay lying down in bed and line up bottles of water on the floor with a long tube attatched for me to suck and I wasn't allowed out of bed until I had drunk them all -although I wasn't allowed to guzzle just so I could leave quicker as they used to come and move the tube once I had emptied one into a full one and if I drank to quick they would make me wait :rotfl:
As Wootballs said -I don't guzzle pints at a time Im just constantly picking up my bottle (my bottles go where I go :rotfl:) ...... cor that turned into an essay about water -sorry :o

Well folks -another red day for me:-

Morning all! I managed to totally stick to plan yesterday, ate exactly what I had planned and felt awesome for it. Today is a bit more of a challenge as I have a meeting with clients where they are providing lunch. Should only be sandwiches, so I am trying to eat plenty of fruit to fill me up before I go, so that I can have a couple of sandwiches to be polite and go syn-free for the rest of the day. So, today's menu will be:

B - weetabix and milk (HEA + HEB)
    L - sandwiches
D - ham risotto (from SW website)

    Snacks - fruit

Also got a 20 min run later, and getting my haircut tonight.

I was told yesterday that it takes 21 days to form a habit, so I'm hoping that after three full weeks of SW I will be totally used to eating properly and exercising. How long did it take other people to get used to healthy food and / or exercise?

I'm glad it's not only me that finds the clapping irritating, it must be part of the SW training. What I hate (and so do other friends I've made in the group) is that they clap your total weightloss even if you've gained that week:mad: It's so embarassing. Fortunately there are lots of lovely people in my group and my consultant is a nice lady, it's the formula that annoys. I'm not sure whether I would stick to my plan without a weekly marker to re-motivate me.

On the smiley-toilet14.gifsituation but I was thinking more of waterworks. I remember reading somewhere that it should be pale straw coloured so I try to drink enough (water and other things) to maintain that. I have noticed that since doing SW 'it' seems stronger (hopefully because of metabolism/digestion improved) so I up my drinking accordingly rather than planning a set number of litres per day.

Can anyone give me any suggestions for family meals for chicken breast fillets and also for mince (apart from spag bol and chilli)? I have no inspiration and need to do a shop this afternoon with a view to cooking at least one of these things tonight. I might try chicken curry tonight, but can't think of anything else :(
