I have the same game, and found the same thing happend to me when I did it a while ago. I wasnt on SW at the time, but was trying to lose weight, had lost a few pound, started doing the 30 day challenge and never lost again. What do you think of the exercises? I found the ones were you use the band to be a bit slow tbh, I could have done double that in the time they set you, but you can't, you have to follow the trainer. Plus I also found when I was doing the running the strap around my leg kept falling down :rotfl:I thought the skiing was great though, really felt that in my bumcheeks the day after:eek:
I have bought the Just dance 2 and its fab, it has a week challenge on it and I feel like after I have done each nights Ive had a proper work out :)

Hi susiebear, I find exactly the same as you, when I run the band falls down so have to pause it to 're-adjust' (more like try to get my breath back :rotfl:) and with the band excercises you're right I'm forever thinking 'hurry up' you could complete each days workout soooo much quicker if they would just blummin hurry up lol.
    Hey
How long have you been doing the programme? I don't know the exact details, but I would be very surpised if you were putting 1-2lb of muscle on every week. If you're body shape is changing (for the better) then thats just as important as the scales :T. How have you found sticking to the plan and doing the increased exercise?

Hi findingmyownway I've been doing the excercies for 3 weeks now, into the last week of the 30 day challenge. I'm sure you're right, can't be putting on that much muscle every week, just disheartning to diet, excercise and still not lose weight. But you're right again, at least I can see a difference in my body shape even if I can't see it on the scales! I can't say that I have noticed a difference in being more hungry, but then I do tend to get my excercises done mid to late morning, so really its not long to have to wait before I can eat.

cande when are you working out? Is it on WI day? I only ask because it's common to retain water around muscles after a workout while they repair themselves, maybe this is the cause?

Been back to the gym myself today for my 2 week review and I've got yet another programme to do  Talk about working me hard :o

I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow at WI but a STS would be good !

    Today (EE):

B - 28g shredded wheat bitesize (HEB), 0% greek yoghurt, strawberries, tsp honey (1 syn)
L - SW quiche (bacon, eggs, onions, pepper, ham, mushrooms) and salad, Activia FF yoghurt
D - Steak, jacket potato with spread (1 syn), peas, carrots, roasted butternut squash

    HEA - Milk
Snacks - Banana, pears, HiFi Bar (6 syns), grapefruit

Still leaves me a few syns if I get a bit peckish later this evening :D

Well done to all the losers this week ! :j :T

Hi majjak, with the 30 day plan you have 2 days of excercising then 1 day rest, so it varies as to what days I excercise, but I always weigh myself on a saturday (an occaisionally sneakily during the week too ;)) maybe everytime I have weighed myself has also been just after excercising, I weigh myself first thing saturday, so it would have to be from fridays workout.

Hopefully the stalemate won't continue and eventually I'll start losing again

I'm a bit fed up today - went to WI and have only lost 1 lb according to their scales - according to mine its 3 lbs.:(
I have stuck religiously to the plan, had about 50 syns over the week and tons of superfree stuff.
I have also done a lot of walking (no more vigourous exercise this week).

Why won't it show? I feel less bloated and flatter IYKWIM.

Its my first week and whenever I've done SW before I've lost 3 or 4 lbs in the first week - felt like coming straight home but did stay for a while (not the whole meeting).
    Thoroughly fed up!

    Today's food... (Green as I'm a veggie)
Breakfast - HIfi bar (B choice)
    Mid Morning - banana
Lunch - left over butterbeans and couscous (1 syn), grapes and strawberries
Dinner - large jacket potato, baked beans and cheese (2 lots of A choice)

Drinks - diet pepsi and low cal squash
Snack - 32g pack of Buttons (in a huff!) 8.5 syns and 1 choc liquer sweet at work (3 syns?)

    So I make that...
    A choice - 2
    B choice - 1
Syns - 12.5? (not sure about the 1 choc)

Off to sulk - tomorrow is another day?

Summer is easier as I love summer fruits but not keen on bananas and apples.

I find stirring a chopped apple into a small bowl of cottage cheese makes it more palatable and a good snack/pudding. Also, frozen Summer Fruits (about £4 per kg in Asda) are good with plain yogurt.

My recommendation would be to set your target to your current weight, so then you don't have to pay to go to SW! Then when you go back and have lost that last half stone you can drop the target down, get your 3st shiny and just pop in when you can.

This wouldn't work as you would have to pay if you drop 3lbs below your target weight until you were back within the range.

If you don't want to go to group any more, it's possible to lose weight without as long as you are disciplined. I find, without the 'threat' of a public weigh-in, it's much easier to think "oh to hell, I'll have this today and do without tomorrow". As we all know, tomorrow never comes amd it can be the start of a slippery slope :)

Please don't feel bad about not losing to the pattern you're used to. Every time is different but if you follow the plan, the weight will come off. It will balance out over the weeks.

Be patient - it's not a race, this is a plan for life :)

    Afternoon All,

WI last night & lost 0.5lb which got me into the next weight bracket! :j :j :j

Also made smargies last week again - love them & they are great as snacks!

I was crowned the biggest loser in group last week & i brought in my old trousers & jumper that used to be too tight when i was at my biggest! Everyone was amazed at how many inches i have lost!

I have noticed more inches lost over last couple weeks rather than weight (only by feel of clothes etc.) maybe it is the belly dancing?

    belly-dance.gifdance-079.gifsmiley-dance007.gif smiley-dance019.gif (i look more like this!)

Hope all is well & good luck to all you big losers! :rotfl:

Well done on getting into the next stone bracket - it's always a big boost to your motivation isn't it? I used to love it when members brought old 'fat' clothes in, it's such a powerful visual incentive for every other member.

I love your belly dancer smileys :rotfl:

Please tell me, what are smargies??
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
