Quick post before bedtime, and haven't caught up with all of the thread yet, but well done to the losers out there.
Me and Master Sary went to weigh in tonight, and after my horrific week of indulgence (finished off with a Burger King, I might add), I somehow managed to get a 1lb loss this week??!! I 'fessed up in class and said I really didn't deserve it, and was going to be super good all this week so that it didn't catch up with me for a massive gain next week. Master Sary had a 1/2 lb gain, but agreed that having pizza at his mates house probably hadn't helped.
So putting last week well and truly behind me, and focussing on being well and truly on plan from now on.
On the plus side, I was back in the gym today and worked extra hard. I feel that's part of my pennance. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hi all,
I am after picking your brains for a bit of advice, possibly Woot might be able to help as its excercise related.
I started SW about 6-7 weeks ago and I've lost half a stone so far, after the first 3-4 weeks of sw ( and losing weight) my OH and I bought the EA Sports Active for the Wii and started doing the 30 day challenge (20 workouts in 30 days) and since starting that my weight has stayed the same each week, OHs weight has also stayed the same, and he's not doing slimming world.
Basically I wanted to ask if you think it's normal/possible for the fat you lose to be the exact same weight as the muscle you are putting on? Although I have not lost on the scales side of things, I know I have lost in terms of body mass, as a coat that I bought a few weeks ago that I couldn't do up at the time, I am now able to do up :j (every little helps). I feel like I have lost somewhere, but its just not showing on the scales and I can feel muscles now that I didn't have before.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.SW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14

I have the same game, and found the same thing happend to me when I did it a while ago. I wasnt on SW at the time, but was trying to lose weight, had lost a few pound, started doing the 30 day challenge and never lost again. What do you think of the exercises? I found the ones were you use the band to be a bit slow tbh, I could have done double that in the time they set you, but you can't, you have to follow the trainer. Plus I also found when I was doing the running the strap around my leg kept falling down :rotfl:I thought the skiing was great though, really felt that in my bumcheeks the day after:eek:
I have bought the Just dance 2 and its fab, it has a week challenge on it and I feel like after I have done each nights Ive had a proper work out0 -
Morning all, have been missing in action since Friday, had 3 really busy days. Was mostly ok food wise and managed to fit a couple of walks in so the few naughty bits I did have should be ok (I hope!)!! Back at work today, I really don't have time for work at the minute, I have loads of other stuff I could be doing lol!! Ah well, success express for me today:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B) with mixed berries and a banana
Lunch - sort of dyno-rod soup, chicken, melon, pineapple, grapes, yogurt
Tea - spaghetti with meatballs and tomato sauce and salad, might have some cheese as HEA2
Snacks - got lots of fruit and need another HEB, might have a fibre plus bar for supper or make some garlic bread to have with tea as that'll use a few syns too.0 -
Morning all, well done to all the losers and keep at it those who sts or gained.
Today's meals
B - scrambled egg, ff yogurt
S - 2 alpen light (heb) strawberries and pineapple
L - leftover aloo gobi from last nights dinner, packet French fries (5?) and apple
S - 2 clementines
D - more leftover aloo gobi and going to bake some falafel and add some more veg0 -

Hey
How long have you been doing the programme? I don't know the exact details, but I would be very surpised if you were putting 1-2lb of muscle on every week. If you're body shape is changing (for the better) then thats just as important as the scales :T. How have you found sticking to the plan and doing the increased exercise?0 -
I didn't have a great weekend foodwise... a creme egg and currant toasted tea cake found their way to my plate in a cafe, but it was after a decent mountain bike ride so could have been worse!
Anyway, i can report a 1.5lb loss yaaaaay.
I am still following the plan without knowing exact syn values.. might bite the bullet and join online today.
Yesterday was green:
B -museli (B) + milk (A)
L - cous cous (1 syn?) + salad + black olives (3 syns?)
D - free cottage pie with lots of sneaky veg in there
snacks - lots of fruit and a muller light
Today is red:
B - museli (B) + milk (A)
L - tuna + toms + rocket + cucumber + carrot salad
D - omlette + cheese (A)
snacks - lots of fruit and a muller light
Hmm, I can see that I need an extra B in there somewhere, and some syns for today. I love chocolate, can someone tell me if I can have a bag of buttons or similar please? x0 -
cande when are you working out? Is it on WI day? I only ask because it's common to retain water around muscles after a workout while they repair themselves, maybe this is the cause?
Been back to the gym myself today for my 2 week review and I've got yet another programme to do  Talk about working me hard
I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow at WI but a STS would be good !
Today (EE):
B - 28g shredded wheat bitesize (HEB), 0% greek yoghurt, strawberries, tsp honey (1 syn)
L - SW quiche (bacon, eggs, onions, pepper, ham, mushrooms) and salad, Activia FF yoghurt
D - Steak, jacket potato with spread (1 syn), peas, carrots, roasted butternut squash
HEA - Milk
Snacks - Banana, pears, HiFi Bar (6 syns), grapefruit
Still leaves me a few syns if I get a bit peckish later this evening
Well done to all the losers this week ! :j :TSave £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000
