Had weigh in this morning, another 1lb off for me :j

I would have been happy with STS as I have not been well most of the week and have not stuck to the plan fully due to lack of appetite and craving toast with marmite, nom nom, plus it is my * week.

Only 2lbs to go for 1 stone off.

    Have a good week everyone

Day One today, weighed myself, stopped screaming eventually and this is my plan for following the EE plan, which seems to suit me more. I'll come back fill in syns etc as I look them up, my books arrived this morning and I'm trying to understand them.

    (A) HE 250ml semi skimmed milk
    (B) 1 slice toast & low fat spread (2?)

    Frozen berries
    Muller light yoghurt
    Jacket potato
Tuna with 1tbsp low fat mayo (2)
    Banana
    Grapes
    Apple
    HM Meat Chilli & Rice
    Fruit in Jelly (4.5)

Does this sound ok? I'm trying to do it without the expense of going to a SW club. How many syns can I have per day/week and is this the same whether I follow red/green/EE?

Afternoon all. Spent so much at Mr T yesterday, and didn't feel like I got much, but I actually think I got enough meat, fish and store cupboard items to last a month, so must try not to panic.

    Food plan for today:
    B - fruit, yog + oats
    L - bolognese (2)
    D - cous cous + roasted veg

Snacks - yog, nana, plum and kiwi

    Afternoon All,

WI last night & lost 0.5lb which got me into the next weight bracket! :j :j :j

Tried the Pizza topped chicken from new mag on saturday - thumbs up from me & DH - would reccommend it - you can use left over veg for toppings & i used some smoked bacon for extra nom nom

Also made smargies last week again - love them & they are great as snacks!

Got opportunity to try the new hifi bars - they are nice - but i do like the fibre plus bars better! (prob cos they slightly cheaper! :money:)

Brother lost 3lbs last night - making 1st 7.5lbs in 8 weeks! (even though he has had a really bad week & not eating his fruit & veg!) :T

My aim this week is to loose at least 2 lbs and i want to beat my brother! :A

I was crowned the biggest loser in group last week & i brought in my old trousers & jumper that used to be too tight when i was at my biggest! Everyone was amazed at how many inches i have lost!

I have noticed more inches lost over last couple weeks rather than weight (only by feel of clothes etc.) maybe it is the belly dancing?

    belly-dance.gifdance-079.gifsmiley-dance007.gif smiley-dance019.gif (i look more like this!)

Hope all is well & good luck to all you big losers! :rotfl:

    Goooooood afternoon all

Hope we are all tickity boo biggrin.gif -
well done on those losses everyone :T

Im having another green day today... and had a scrummy lunch (using lots of odds n sods I wanted out of the way thankyouthankyou.gif... I made a tortilla/frittata with :-
    • 2 sad leeks
    • an onion
    • 1 red pointy pepper
    • some very sorry asparagus
    • a pack of feta
    • and 7 eggs
its made 6 portions at 1heA per serving (or an AorB on green).. I had it with the roasted tomatoes and onions I did the other day (I love hot and cold together so i didn't warm the tomatoes up)..
So then my meal plan is:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1 orange
    • 2 plums
    • feta tortilla (B)
    • roasted tomato/onion sauce (0.5)
    • pineapple
    • jacket potato
    • cottage cheese
    • lettuce
    • cucumber
    • tomatoes
    • onions
    • peppers
    • tickled cabbage
    • tickled beetroot
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus (B)
    • activia (2.5)
So I make that 2A+B and 3syns -I will add to later if need be,,,,
Anyhoo we are just back from 10 pin bowling woohoo.gifwe haven't been for yonks -we used to go all the time -hubby used to league bowl and boy was he good... we have our own shoes n ball -well huby has 2 (no wude comments tongue.gif) .... and mine glows in the dark giggle.gif.... it would be nice if we could get back into it (great exercise too) ...
On the way back we popped into the naafi and i picked up some quorn sausages -I don't know why but Im drawn more n more to veggie alternatives (mind I was veggie for 6 years and vegan for 2 many moons ago) ..so that probably explains it.. anyhoo I figured I could have those occasionally when hubby is having the 6syn b*ggers :rotfl: ... I managed to fend off the cauliflower cheese burgers -which I soooo used to love -but at 8.5syns each I will give them a miss for now -especially as I KNOW I could eat all 4 :o...oooo ohhhh and I picked up a couple of hassa avocados too *woop woop*
Right I had better get off... have a lovely day all and I will pop in later...

MrsM - that tortilla sounds yummy!

For some reason I am hungry today despite eating lots which is annoying! Got an apple left to have but other than that I will have to wait until dinner tonight.

    Evening, just finished my dinner.

    Had a good green day:)

    Had a coffee first thing
Breakfast was 2 x weetabix(B), FF activia, nana, clementine
Lunch was interesting, had taken an A of cheese and some beetroot in a tub for a baked potato. But really fancied beans too:o So i had a baked potato with beans/cheese/beetroot all mixed up. Didn't taste too bad but my cheese was pink from the beetroot! Looked horrible:rotfl:Also had 2 x clementine and 2 x alpen light(B) and an activia.
Dinner HM fried rice(1), falafel(9) and sweetcorn.

Used both A+B and 10 syns. Got some whoopsied strawberries so will have 2 x meringue(5), strawberries and vanilla activia when i'm hungry later with a cuppa.

Well done losers:T Hope everyone is having a great day.

I'm sure you'll get lots of help on here.

Just to get you started, you can have up to 15 syns a day. There are lots of opinions about exactly what's best but I would say you must have syns (some people do try to avoid them) and if you start high (close to 15) then you have leeway for cutting back if your weight loss should plateau.

Your menu looks OK to me but there's always room for more superfree fruit and veg. Perhaps your chilli has loads of veg in as well as the meat?

Thanks for your reply. The chilli had onions and mushrooms as well as the beans, so some veg. My '5 a day' has been sadly down to a possible '5 a week' over the past year so I will make a huge effort to increase it. Summer is easier as I love summer fruits but not keen on bananas and apples.

15 syns a day... I've got a few more to have before bed then :T
