Is there a big party at club this week?
I can't go this week - need to fit in work, body tone and zumba so having week off but will still weigh myself on my scales here Wed, £5 saved can pay for Zumba.
Shame the new village Zumba class clashes with Slimming World but have to say I feel I want to go to Zumba more.
Been at SW 6 months now and only STS once and gained once 1/2lb at Xmas - really want to lose another half stone by Easter to reach 3 stone loss, then I'll review it and see how I feel/look but may still need to lose anything up to another 2 stone but not thinking of that yet!
Am thinking can I do it without paying to go to weigh in/meetings, concentrate on increasing excercise by gym, walking and classes.
Off to Body Tone in a bit - circuits tonight have the feeling I shall be made to work very hard!
Also Aunt has brought me Davina Buff Dvd and 2 Jillian Michaels fitness dvds:)
Hope everyones ok?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Hi Annie, does it have a brand on it? If so I can check online for you. I searched polenta and it just came up with 'Polenta, whole grain, 28g raw' which is 5 on all plans and 'Polenta, whole grain, ready to use, 28g cooked' which is 1 on all plans.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

My recommendation would be to set your target to your current weight, so then you don't have to pay to go to SW! Then when you go back and have lost that last half stone you can drop the target down, get your 3st shiny and just pop in when you can.
I can't afford to keep my membership up so I'm a fake target member at the moment.

:rotfl: MrsM, we are so similar, I also eat all those things cold, as well as mixed bean salad and marcaroni cheese (when it used to be free)! If only I lost my taste for not of the synful things I'd be slimming with the same success as you!
I'm definately catching up on the tickled veggies stakes: I've got through a while jar of gherkins this week, not to mention the small jar of picked eggs I've demonlished in 1 day
Currently eating sprouting broccoli mixed into some not very exciting vegetable soup. The broccoli stems are a bit tough, reminds me of asparagus that people haven't broken the woody ends off, so am leaving a little green pile behind!Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
The aloo gobi I made for dinner was yummy - there is enough left over for two more meals, think I am going to take it for lunch tomorrow.0

Hi Ladies
I am also a lurker of this thread and joined SW 4 weeks ago. Have lost 5lbs so far and put on 0.5lb last week!! I do shift work so find it hard to go to weigh-in on the same day every week, which means sometimes I dont go for 9 days then the next week I'll go 5 days after my last weigh in! I have been to other places to be weighed but as my shifts change every week, its very hard to sort it out!!
I'm going tomoro to be weighed and think I may have stayed the same, my friend at work has lost a stone in a month, which is great but makes me fed up at my measly 5lbs!! I am upping my exercise (walking, running and weights) but dont think I'm doing enough.
Does anyone know if the M and S Hot Chicken Curry is free on EE? I cant find it online anywhere......
ThanksKimmyCustard :j0 -

Thanks think I'm going through a feeling fed up with the meetings at the mo - I use to go weekly to the evening group in my village but once winter set in it got harder to go as a mile each way and in the cold it's not nice after being out 8-5.30 with work. Then I moved more to just the weigh in at the club by work at 5.30pm which is handy as between work and my train home.
I've now started using the fitness studio in the village and the owner is a great personal trainer - she offers to weigh/measure anyone who goes once a week and keeps a record - this is all free.
I would feel bad leaving SW as it's been so good but I never really enjoy the meetings - can't wait to get home after!
Will give it a miss this week then go next week see how it goes - at the mo I'll stay to 3 stone and review then!
Am really starting to enjoy excercise again:)Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
