Oh look, your tank comes when its called! :D

    )

    LOVE IT......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If you like the shop bought ones these are very similar, but completely without syns - the ones in the shops are quite high in syns.

    Potato cakes.

    1 packet smash
    1 egg yolk
    seasoning
Fry light or at least a non-stick tray.
    Cling film

Make up smash with as little water as you can get away with. Season, mix in egg yolk, cool in fridge.
Preheat oven to 220 degrees C.
flatten dough onto cling film, fold clingfilm back over itself, so that you are rolling the dough between 2 pieces of cling film. makes it much easier to handle! I had to do this in 3 batches, so a little fiddly. Roll it out to a square or rectangle shape, about 1/2 cm thick.
Spray oven tray with fry light, cut dough into squares, and using a fish slice transfer them onto the tray. Cook for approx 6-10 minutes on first side until set and starting to brown, turn over and repeat.

do not burn your fingers trying to eat them too quickly because you can't wait for them to cool down ;)

These were supposed to be for free pizza bases, but I made one into a pizza and decided I prefered them this way! :D

sounds yummy...will have to give these a go ;)

 why isnt this on the recipe thread young lady  smiley-eatdrink061.gif

I am feeling very low tonight, anxiety to do with work and family, and the temptation to have chocolate etc is very strong. Might make myself a hot chocolate (options) in a minute to try to stave it off.

Ugh I made my macaroni pie and it was crap :( I still ate half of it lol

I am going to console myself by trying to make a 'panfake' (sweet omelette!) with strawberries and light squirty cream, will let you know how that goes!

I came accross 2 recipies on facebook that I am going to try, using silken tofu, a chocolate pud and a baked cheese cake type thing.
You can buy it in ASDA, not sure where else though x

    chocolate mousse - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=492931655666&set=o.2250349716&theater#!/photo.php?fbid=136633569732395&set=o.2250349716&theater&pid=257736&id=100001572588951
4 syns for the whole lot

    i box silken tofu
    1/2 cup sweetener
    4 tblsp cocoa powder
    ...
then just blend till mixed in

Baked tofu, chocolate & peanut butter tart with scan bran -http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=492931655666&set=o.2250349716&theater
    Serves 4 @3 1/2 syns each

    Ingeredents
    1 box silken tofu
...5 scan bran finely chopped/blended(5 syns)
    1 TBS golden syrup(2 1/2)
    2 TBS boiling water
    2 TBS cocoa powder(2 syns)
    1 TBS peanut butter(4 syns)
    8 ish TBS sweetner

1, Place golden syrup into microwave for 30 seconds till runny.
Then add along with the water to the scan bran and mix throughly.
Then add the mix to a frylighted tin or pirex dish and flatten as much as possible. Then place in a preheated oven on gas mk 5 for 10 mins.
2, while base is cooking blened 1/2 the tofu with 4-6 TBS of sweetner and the 2 tbs of cocoa, blen untill no lumps and goes all silk like, then place to one side and repeat with the other half tofu, sweetner & peanut butter blending again untill no lumps and goes all smoth.
3, remove base from oven and top with chocolate mix first, when all mix is on bang it lightly on the worktop to release any air pockets.
Then top with the peanut butter mix and again bang slightly to release air pockets.
4, place back into the preheated oven on the gas mk 5 still for 30-40 mins or untill top looks compleatly set then remove from oven.
5, leave to cool & chill for at least 1 hour before serving with any fruit of your choice and maybe some anchor light( 1 syn for 12 1/2g)
Whole cake works out at 13 1/2 syns

Thank you 2 vegan recipes:D I tend to get my tofu from the Chinese supermarket when I'm in Birmingham as only £1.35 for 3 large blocks, the silken one is about 80p a big block. I am keen to try the choc mousse type pud!

I had a good day today food wise eating lots of fruit and salads, I'm loving the mini orange peppers I got from Aldi - keep eating them as a snack! Don't know why I'm so into peppers at the mo but keep eating them.

Went to Zumba tonight - tried a different class after work with 2 work friends - such good fun and a fab instructor - knew his stuff and got us all moving non stop yet smiling! Very fit too - great view;):rotfl:

After lots of walking and zumba/gym Im still wide awake - if it was not so late/dark Id be out for a power walk - must be the excercise 'buzz' trouble is got to be up by 6.30am!

If you look at the Healthy Extras for Green, it is there but not under the Philidelphia brand name. I printed it today, and it doesn't yet say 100g of the low fat version.

I wonder whether now that 100g (rather than 85g) of Philly Extra is a HE whether you get more for your syns? 100g is so much easier as it comes in 200g tubs, saves a lot of faffing about with measuring. I'm having it with pasta later in the week! Yum!

Morning all. Thanks Skintslimmer for the potato cakes idea, I love those things! I used to get some from M&S that had spring onions in and they were lush! Might try adding some when I give it a go! Years ago when I did SW we used to do allsorts of potato cakes with smash. My mum used to sautee onions and mushrooms, mix them with the smash then make 'cakes' using an ice-cream scoop and bake them in the oven. We also sometimes made 'fish cakes' using the same method and adding tinned mackeral and some sweetcorn or peas (or both!). My aunty used to have a few of these with a tin of mushy peas for lunch several times a week (green day obviously!)

Anyway, onto more exciting news.......my wedding dress has been delivered to the shop!!! Apparently its gorgeous! After work on friday I'm going for my hair trial then to try it on and pick my veil and anything else I want to go with it!!!

    Today is a green day:

Brekkie - half a banana (they are huuuge!) and porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - pasta with creamy garlic mushroom sauce and lots of veggies, sprinkling of crispy bacon (2), yogurt, apple
Tea - Not sure, staying at our other house tonight and forgot to bring anything with me for tea!!! Will pop into tesco or M&S and get something later.

OH has gone up to the yorkshire dales today with his friends to go walking, I'm dead jealous, I love it up there!!
