Can I ask a really silly question?

I am on extra easy , its about the 1/3 plate of superfree really. Yesterday we had a quorn vegetable chilli. Most of the chilli was vegetables but these look a lot less when cooked down, Veg probably made up 3/4 or more of the chilli precooking (more if you can count the passata). If I ate a bowl of this with a jacket potato would I still need an extra 3rd of the plate salad/veg etc or would the 3/4 chili and 1/4 potato be ok....does that make sense?
  • Hello all,

I fell like a drama queen (although I can assure you guys I am not) but I only put on 0.5lb last night at WI, I was so shocked I was expecting at least 3lbs gain, so I appologise for being over dramatic but I definetely felt I deserved a lot more.

Anyway it's Friday and I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm getting a chest freezer today, a friend at work no longer needs it so I cheekily asked if I could have it and its mine. Very MSE. I will however get him a crate of beer or something as I don't want to take advantage,

But this means my weekend will be spent batch cooking and I can't wait :j I brought the new SW magazine last night and will go through it all tonight and plan my week. I'm actually can't wait to find some recipies and be all domesticated :rotfl:

Well done to the losers, and those feeling poorly wrap up warm, the wind outside is manic here.

My eating plans were hijacked again yesterday. We had a phone call to say DS2 had been rushed into hospital. We don't yet knoW what is causing his problem so quite stressful for everyone.
We stopped at a Chinese restaurant on the way home at 10.30. I had chicken with green pepper and egg fried rice. No idea how many sns but I guess I should now have no syns for 3 or 4 days?

I hope your DS is ok, I agree with Lil_me you could have done a lot more damage with the chinese so don't be too hard on yourself.

I would probably just have an apple or satsuma after my chilli to make sure I had got my 1/3 in.

Morning all! Ate out last night, but was relatively good - didn't drink or have desert and only ate a small amount (it was meze so could get away with eating little but nobody noticing and I have a yog just before I went to fill me up a bit), but it was not very MSE! Food plan for today:

    B - fruit
L - cajun chicken salad with feta (HEA)
D - HM bolognase with SW chips

    Snacks - yog, fruit
Syns - wine (rugby is on, so if England win I will have to have real willpower to stick to two glasses)

Looking forward to the weekend, I haven't had chance to cook properly for ages, so gonna try some new things methinks. Got a training course all day Saturday and although food is included, I might take a salad and fruit from home.
