    Afternoon all,

I've decided this morning that I will be taking this one day at a time, if i have to think i'll be "good" all week then i make myself rebel.. self sabotage is a booger! So i was on track yesterday.. lets see how today goes!

So today - green day again (i can't get my head around EE)

B - yogurt, apple and oaty bar crumbled on top (3)
L - remaining pasta bake (some chicken in there maybe 2)
T - Smushed roasted new potatoes, chicken (HEB) carrot and courgette rostis, salad, beetroot
    S - crisps (4.5) milk (HEA) satsumas

so i have 1 of each HEA and B left.. will think of what to have later if i'm hungry.

hope everyone has a great day..
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

    Hi Everyone,

Im a newbie to this website and possibly Slimming World too.
Are you all slimming world members? My friend has shown me her SW books and has shown me what to do. Do I need to join a club in your opinions? I don’t think im too keen in going and also parting with the money, however this is a new year and a new start and im determined to shift some weight.

    Any advice would be great.

    Lois x

Hi Lois and welcome to the thread! :)

Most people on this thread are members. But, I'm not. My friend let me borrow her books and i have done it on my own with this thread for guidance (its like having your own personal group!)

If i was more financially stable i would join my local group as I think its better to do this than to go alone (you're less likely to fall off the wagon IMO) BUT having said that if you are disiplined enough and plan properly you can lose weight following SW at home :)

Best of luck! Please stick around as the info/help/support/inspiration on this thread is amazing :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

^^^ edit - just show up bettyB, there is usually a new members table set up every week

oh i saw the new italian everyday sw book in the shops yesterday - a few days early!!
it was £9.99 in british bookshops, previously known as sussex stationers.
also i think amazon has it for a reasonable price too.

i was looking for the world of flavours book many of us got before xmas. my sis was so impressed with her copy she wants to buy it for other people too. the british bookshop had most of the hardback sw cookbooks for £9.99 and that is the cheapest we have found it.

I have decided to buy all the new directories tonight as i think i am going to stop going to class.
mostly to save money but also cos i am fed up of spending an hour clapping and getting no actual information.
does anyone know if it is worth also getting the 2 little £1.95 books too? free foods and low syn snacks?

Thanks, I'll just turn up at the one that's near me tonight then! :D

Can I just turn up to one and buy the stuff and not go back if I use this offer??
Join Slimming World before 30th January and get half price membership. That’s only £5.00 to join and £4.95 weekly – a total of just £9.95 to pay on your first night!
    Or the voucher in bella?
Or will those offers tie me in somehow????

    Hi Everyone,

I have joined today, woo hoo!

Need to lose about a stone:(, just hope I can do this thing right, my problem is the nibbles we have of an evening, and cos I work late I do nibble when I get in and have a glass of vino or 2:D

So please dont think i am too much of a pain with a zillion questions, although I have my pin here so I am sure I can find stuff out!!

Today I have had porridge made with water and a nana
Lunch small portion of home made veg soup, and jacket with beans...
Could I have a jacket for tea with prawns perhaps or is this too many jackets???

    thanks

I am no expert but i dont think you are tied in at all. loads of people only go for one or two weeks just to get the books and initial feedback

only time you are really tied in is if you buy a countdown and that is because you have chosen to pay up front.

Hi Sam B, welcome to the Forum. From your day's eating plan I assume you are doing a Green Day. Don't think there's a problem with you having jacket pot twice in a day but you should really be trying to vary your food so you don't get bored. You also need to have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs to ensure you get the necessary calcium and fibre daily.

With EE you need to have a third of your plate being superfree, at the moment your evening meal doesn't have any. Add in some salad or veg and you're all set!
