    Hi all,
I am hoping to join Slimming world 2moro. The class isn't until early evening and I would really like to have some healthy and slimming world approved stuff to eat in my house b4 I come back frm my class. I will then make a handy dinner.
I don't have time to do a big Tesco shop so will just be popping in grocer store near my home to get bits and bobs like muller light yoghurts etc but need ideas for easy quick meals to make for when I'm hungry and need a dinner until I get more time to get into the programme and get into the swing of things.
    Thanks

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
samby - what about dried pasta, a can of tomato's & a can of tuna - voila!
Or if you've got anything already in give us a clue and we can adapt it to a SW recipe. On SW nights when hubby's away I usually end up with cooked penne topped with baked beans & 42g reduced fat cheddar - nom nom.

Thank u both so much. The fry light seems to be mentioned a lot on different sites, I will try to use it with most things.
Can I just ask, this may sound silly but I really haven't a clue, if I'm making chips do I have to boil the potaoes first in water, then when they're boil cooked cut them into chips and cover them in 'fry lite' and oven cook?

I never par-boil mine first-just cut them into chips/wedges whack them in the oven raw- I use oil and seasonings, but otherwise YEP -just spray and bake ;)

I just cut the spuds up into chips...put in boiling water and bring back to the boil for 4 mins. Drain and shake in the pan. spray a baking sheet with frylight then spray the chips. bake at 200 for about 35 mins turning once.

you can do wedges too, I part cook my spud like a jacket in the micro.....then chop into wedges, spray with frylight, and bake the same way.......reallly yummmmmmmy :p
