same :( - and on my scales and my scales at work ( which wiegh exactly the same as my C's ) - i wont be seeing a loss ....gutted

You and me both. Scales at home say I've STS, scales on the Wii say I weighed the same this morning as I did last Thursday evening, so god knows. I'm fairly sure I won't be seeing a loss tonight.

  • How on earth did you come to have 11 punnets of blueberries?! :rotfl:

Well...the 200g punnets were reduced to 75p (from £2.99 in tesco), when they were on full price they were on special offer and for some reason they were taking off the discount, so 2 punnets of reduced blueberries were costing me £1.50 but taking £3.97 off my shopping, I was at self service and it was quiet so I ran back and grabbed another couple and it took £3.97 off again. I took my shopping home very pleased with myself, but as I don’t live far from tesco I popped back about an hour later to see if they had any left, they did and I bought another 6! So that’s 10, to go with the punnet I’d bought in aldi earlier because I didn’t know I was going to stumble across the ones in tesco makes 11!

I froze 5 punnets, splitting each one into two and I’m working my way through the rest. I love blueberries but this is ridiculous!

I’m going to make some oat bran muffins at the weekend though, 28g oatbran (heb), 1 egg, blueberries, cinnamon and sweetener, split into muffin cases and baked in the oven...was unsure about whether the blueberries will still be free because they’ll have been cooked?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

We do the same on a Wednesday (Chinese tonight :D) but be careful with Pizza. One slice of Domino's is about 25 syns, so it's extremely easy to blow your whole syn allowance for the week on one pizza.

Hmmmm thanks for that bit of info lol!!! You may have just done Mr Dominoes out of an order!!! Actually I'm thinking of just having less than I would have rather than not having any at all!!! I wish I didn't love naughty food so much!!!

HI everyone, new to this thread, but I joined SW last October. Would like to apply for my seat on the SW tank please!
My biggest problem is that my hubby has problems keeping weight on, and gets quite ill quickly if his weight drops. Sooooo unfair, would love to donate some of my wobbly bits to him! So i can't give him the same low fat stuff i eat. Also have 2 girls under 12 who are naturally real skinny minnies, the eldest really worries about being too thin so I have to be really careful not too make a big thing about diets at home.
Weigh in tonight, but I found a oatso simple in my desk drawer this morning and had it for breakfast instead of yogurt. Just checked on-line and its 6 1/2 syns!!!
So food for the day so far

b oatso simple (6 1/2 syns) blueberries and banana
l ham and cheese salad HEA HEB
    snack ff yogurt
tea will be chilli and rice after weigh in, so not till 9, if I can still face it then.
Good luck to everyone else weighing in today

    Ali x

Oh dear - that's just spoilt my day :( I've had this porridge 2 mornings running and didn't realise they were that high in syns! I'm getting my password for SW online tonight so I think some homework is in order.

If its the 'original' oat so simple you can count it as a HEB rather than using syns.

Thanks skint catt, although I only have cereal out of the list you posted...I might stop at the shop on the way back from the school and pick up some alpen lights, or hifi bars....(nice to see you back again btw:D)

Ali - Oatso simple can be used as a HEb:)

I love those KRISPROLLS, you can have 3 of them as a HE B choice I like them with mashed up boiled egg on, nomnom. As far as I'm aware Swede is still free on all plans. Good luck, and you've come to the right place, although be careful some of us are completely mad. ;)

    smiley-transport011.gif

I did well to start, we went to one of those sizzling pub things (I did try my best to persuade her to go to the carvery...but she was there on sunday with her mum )

I ordered a sirloin steak and opted for Jacket spud & salad :A while she chose chips, bbq sauce, onion rings & melted cheese :o

Off she went to order while I sat back feeling rather happy at my healthy choice :):T she came back with the drinks...DIET Pepsi (tasted vile with my meds tho so had to get a water) but she hit me with " oh because you wanted your steak cremating its going to be 20 mins - so I ordered us a tex mex platter as a starter while we wait" :wall:aaaaaagggghhh :o:(

so all my good intentions and Ive just demolished 1 kfc style chicken strip, 5 onion rings, 1 slice of garlic bread, 6 spicy potato wedges & some sour cream & salsa dip smiley-ashamed001.gif and that was before the steak!!!

Ive no Idea how many syns :( and its WI tomorrow

just read through the forum and "DizzyK"
I am a fellow dizzy head too !!!

I was diagnosed with migraine associated vertigo with inner ear damage. And orthostatic hypotention. I feel its because of the dizzys I gained all the weight , unable to leave the house alot and exercise.
But we can do it ;).

    Hello fellow dizzy person smiley-greet013.gif
not much fun is it walking like an old drunk :o:rotfl:
Totally understand & sympathise with the weight gain since you got this problem :( Its exactly what happened to me. I lost loads doing SW then piled it on again after my last Op to remove my inner ear last march...when I stopped SW & basically just comfort ate myself up by the 2 stone I'd lost plus another 1 :o

But Im back now & even tho I cant exercise as Ive still no balance...the weight has been coming off steadily :) WE CAN do this :T

Not read the other pages, but just a quick check-in. I'm back from the hospital, had my cast off (:)) and I CAN WALK!!! Well, sort of, as in very slowly and with crutches and having to try to override the "ohgodohgodohgodI'mgoingtohurtit" feeling ;) I am quite, no, VERY chuffed :D And I can EVEN do stairs on my feet not my bum now! :T

Slight flaw in the day was getting very carsick

Ooooh well done Hun :D now don't you be getting giddy and running up and down the stairs showing off :rotfl::rotfl: take it steady!!!!

Do you get carsick a lot? have you tried seabands? they are things that you wear on your wrists, I have to wear them as I was realllllly bad after the last op with motion sickness, but wasnt allowed to take any meds as my brain wouldnt learn the signals if I did. I still use them now as the Oscillopscia (bouncy vision) makes me wanna heave when we travel....but these work great!
