  • Sary, not exactly emergency rations, but I've taken to carrying a little tupperware pot of skimmed dried milk and a couple of sachets of butterbuds in my bag. The dried milk was really handy in London this weekend as I could just order a black Americano then add my own skimmed milk. A lot of places only have semi-skimmed, or won't heat it, and I like my milk thin and hot! (say nothing!). I do usually have an apple with me when I go out ... and when I get back :rotfl:.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Went to SW last night for the first time. Think I understand what I am doing. I do need to go shopping though for more healthy options.

    B
28g apricot wheats.... can they be a HEB?
    S Orange
L Bacon, beans, 2 egg omlette
D Soup made from carrots, swede, onion oxo, marmite and teaspoon of madras paste. A very large pan full so enough for 3 days!
    Kipper.
Syns Half a Morrisons cereal bar, 2 liquorice allsorts, coffee whitener, low fat natural yoghurt on my apricot wheats.

    Does this sound ok?

Not had my full HEA just a few dashes of skimmed milk in my tea.
I USED TO BE INDECISIVE BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!

Joe's sausages are sanctioned by SW and can be bought online. In order to get free p&p you have to buy around £50 worth, but if you can find someone else to buy as well, it's worth it. They're very meaty and rather luscious.

I looooove Joes sausages!! Our group put a monthly order in with them so the freezer is normally full.

I'm having a good week so far. I've taken to having weetabix for lunch which I'm really enjoying. I struggle to get a variety for lunch so this suits me nicely.

    Lunch
2x Weetabix and Milk (HEA and B)
2 tsp light sugar (1 syn)
    Pack of frozen veg

    Dinner
Sainsburys be good to yourself tagliatelle (5.5 syns)
    Yo! Sushi Rice (free)
  • HI ALL, Not been posting lately cos feeling really down. I put 1/2 stone on over the Christmas break and just can't seem to get my backside in gear again!!!!! I know what to do, I have been target or thereabouts for 2 years now but I have never found it this difficult to get back on to the plan.

DIZZY - So glad you had a great holiday. You make me laugh (in the nicest way of course!) - you also make me feel really angry with myself for being so stupid and low at the moment when you have all your problems and can still be so upbeat. love the tank!!!!

WELL DONE - To all the losers.

WELCOME - To all the new comers - although I'm struggling at the moment I know that Slimming World is the very best plan and it really does work.

KEEP GOING EVERYONE - YOU CAN DO IT xx

Blackberry-rum, are you keeping very quiet about the exact date of your birthday? If so then I'll wish you a very small and generic k040.gif for whenever it is or was :)

Not sure what breakfast or lunch will be yet?

For dinner i'm making a cheese and potato pie though. Can't remember who posted the recipe but it sounds yum.

Have a good fairy free day!

Yay well done you - great loss :j

Do think this shows why it is important to go to class, if you hadn't of gone you could easily have gone wrong next week. Now you have a great loss and the determination to keep to plan. I always go to class even when I think I have put on, sometimes you get a pleasant surprise and if you have put on it makes you determined to lose it for the next week.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad I went and stayed to class, I was so nervous getting on the scales and all these excuses were pouring out of my mouth, and the sweet old lady said "can I just stop you there you've lost 4.5lb and nearly fell off the scales! I love staying to class too cos you get to hear what other people are eating/doing, bottom line is I'm nosy!
