I put a pound and a half on last night but I've been cheating with my syns so it's to be expected.

Really need to get back on track this week, no more cakes with lunch and no more cheating in the morning and not weighing out the cheese on my toast.

went to 1st meeting lastnight, was ok, very big group but think this was because of the new year thing, new member bit ended up being for the whole group so not sure we covered everything and am a little confused but working through the books to see what it entails.

    today have had
breakfast...bannana (?spelling), was running late for work
lunch, chicken pasta salad (roast chicken from sunday, pasta, peppers/tomatoes/cucumber, small bit mayo) then fruit salad with mullerlight for pudding
dinner will be minute steak with jacket pots and salad (might have baked beans as well if very hungry)
had an apple mid afternoon, might have a couple satsumas now as well (will be eating diner 7.30 when oh gets home)
drinks- water and 3cups of coffee with semiskimmed milk

how does this stack up, am kind of going by extraeasy day? dont think any of these covers a B choice does it? can have some tinned fruit for pudding if having a B choice is a must
    thanks

I see that some of you are doing "Green Days", EE days and Original Days, switchning from one to the other. How do you manage that? I do EE and that's more than my brain can cope with.:rotfl:

I did Original and Green days when i done SW in 2008 and failed!! I got to know EE when i started SW again last year! I love Green and Red days but used to struggle when i wanted stuff like Chilli for dinner as i hated measuring my beef on green, i only have rice or potato with it and i cba measuring my potato on a red day!! EE was my saviour for meals like that!!

I enjoy alternating the days it just takes a lot of reading!! :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

If you have Laughing Cow Light/xtra Light you could spread one of those on toast and have the rest some other way as your HEA (they're lovely as a JP filling, yum) :D

Penny, this doesn't look like much food to me. Could you perhaps pad it out a little? You could add mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks of fruit or perhaps yoghurt. Add extra to your lunch in the way of s/free foods, maybe tomatoes and mushrooms and more veg with dinner.

I know it sounds odd to eat more when you're gaining, but it really does work. Also don't forget to drink plenty of water (at least 2½ litres a day - sparkling is lovely).

Thanks for that and to the others who kindly responded. I will try what you suggest but I am really a 3 meals a day person. I never have snacked between meals so it might take some getting used to. If I'm not hungry between meals then I wouldn't think to have a piece of fruit say.

Yesterday's menu probably wasn't that typical TBH. I LOVE fruit and veg and sometimes have 4 or 5 on my plate at once! I guess as it was liver & onions, peas just seemed to go right with it.

I MUST drink more water though, I will agree with you on that. I drink loads in the warmer weather but this time of year I never fancy cold drinks. I never drink squash or anything like that either.

    1lb on or off??

If it's a loss then that's still a good result!
If it's a gain then it's only a small one, you can take it off again in a week.

chin up, it's win win! :)
