First off
1) you are not allowed to lose 6lb before me- you dont need to, plus it will make me very VERY jealous!!
2) there is cereal in the cupboard I shall put it out for you to take to work!
3) I did, I believe , warn you about those crisps and the reason they make you lose weight is because they are truly inedible!!proper crisps are in the cupboard!
4) No beating happened in getting you to work hard .... my painting skills spoke for themselves! :rotfl:
5)ps...onto the halifax account - its on my todo list!
In other news manic week at work this week or at least for the next 2 days and feel like am coming down with man flu (very serious you know!) so a push to keep going till the weekend!....I shall then be helping mrtyo finish off the flat and hopefully our weekends of hard work *ahem* shall be over!
Counting the sleeps till holiday too and hoping expenses and tcb money come through in time to spend there! yay!
On the subject of work spose I better get off there, hope evryone is well!
ps radish I may have sucummbed to a choc ice last nite, you may have to kick me up the backside on this 6lb challenge! :rotfl:
So Mr TYO.
Are you going to come out of the closet and have your own diary :rotfl:
Welcome to the clan.
MOOC xxMortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Radish, whats worse is i saw the wrapper in the bin the other night (well morning by the time i get back) and thought mmmm one of those would be nice......It was the last one....needless to say i cried myself to sleep hungry again
Mooc, ive never been the greatest diary keeper and i wouldnt want to take up some cyber space somewhere that will collect dust like the first real diary i got back in the 90's at some point! I must admit though reading other peoples does give me inspiration for my own MFW but the thought of sitting down typing it up uninspirates me!Besides TYO is much better than me at foruming and saving so im sure when her flat goes a new post may appear in here with "our" new target with just 1 property.0 -
Radish- big apologies for the choc ice misdemeanour ... shall try not to repeat!
problem with me trying to diet is I like nice food too much, over and above "rabbit food"!
Hey mooc
hope youre okay ... seems like diarying is down to me!
Morning MrtyoRadish, whats worse is i saw the wrapper in the bin the other night (well morning by the time i get back) and thought mmmm one of those would be nice......It was the last one....needless to say i cried myself to sleep hungry again*gets out violin*
I apologise for starving you of ice cream.... may I point out incase you are hungry today that we also have another pack (different flavour tho) in the freezer ... ps there is plenty of other healthy food in the house - just maybe dont touch the crisps again! :rotfl:im sure when her flat goes a new post may appear in here with "our" new target with just 1 property.
Ah you know me so well!!That is indeed my grand plan! I reckon our grand total of what we owe the world will look pretty impressive by that point!
In MF news have been doing my little SOA for the next few months and reckon my contributions to savings/OPs will be about £350p/m (still paying mortgage on my flat) so not bad going!
Out for a not so MSE dinner tonite in quite an expensive area but hoping to get the bill sub £15 ish...shhh...
Have printed a couple of pizza hut £5 vouchers for when we are away on holidays for cheap eats!:T
Putting expenses claim in this week which should clear by the time I need to pay the holiday c/c....
Still [STRIKE]obsessivley[/STRIKE] vigilantly checking tcb waiting for my £21 to come through!
Thats about all!
Have a good day all , will look forward to it being the weekend so I can catch up on other diaries in MF world with a nice cup of tea!! only 2 more sleeps to go till friday0 -
Hi TYOs,
I'm a vote for not having seperate diaries and Mr TYO throwing in the odd wee grenade for entertainment value and scuttling off (most likely back to the flat for an extended period of hard labour followed by raking in the bins for leftover scraps of food...). The "last choc ice of the summer" is a tragic miniseries that's crying out to be made!
Brilliant on the OP fund! Glad everything is going according to plan. Have a wonderful holiday. Be it soap, candles, a guide to sarcasm instruction book or the natural choice - Mr TYOs home-made legendary choc-ices - appearing soon in all good supermarkets, I'm still a willing customer with nothing to buy!!!
Cheers,

Me too, and maybe we can arrange food drops or something :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

See mrtyo I told you you had a fan club on here!! :rotfl:
Hello all
I would just like to clarify and clear my good name for anyone (billy and gg!) that is thinking of calling the human equivalent of the rspca under the impression that poor mrtyo lives a life of hard labour and diving into bins for scraps of food....
There are certainly more choc ices...just not of the variety of said in-the-bin-wrapper .... there are also copious other chocolate related food-stuffs in the house which I can promise mrtyo gets a chance at eating too!
2 more days of work till the weekend- yay! Its becoming one of those weeks where its a long old slog and gonna be a long day of playing catch up today methinks! More and more I am trying to think of a two pronged approach to life/finances/eventually retirement that doesnt just rely on working! I havent come up with a master plan of making money elsewhere (so far saving/OPing and being frugal is my master plan! :rotfl:) but the chances of being 67 (or who knows what age in 40 years time...God thats depressing!) and still wanting to do what I do now are, I think, slim! Any other money making schemes for TYOs that people come up with , property development I think would struggle with me being at all useful so that may be out! Was thinking of making a career out of winning the lottery perhaps? must start with buying a ticket!....0 -

Don't worry tyo, a very large pinch of salt is taken with anything mrtyo saysA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Welcome MrTyo.
If you don't want the commitment of your own diary - and I see your point that it would be a bit superfluous to have two diaries on here tracking the progress of the same mortgage - then just drop in on this one and contribute a bit when you feel like it. I think it's fun to see both people's side of the same story.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
