Over the next 12 months I am deciding to reduce my pension contribution from 12% of salary to 1% in order to free up some more income to pay the maximum into the mortgage instead. So, I have the intent of saving into the debt, reduce the term etc. I am hoping to save maybe around £5000 in cash, and £1500 into a share scheme at work in the next 12 months.0

I just thought today that I have saved at least 15% of my wage every month for 9 years!!
Its crazy to think but I will have paid off my mortgage by 35 years old! My mum was asking me where I got the saving gene from last night and apparently its an old Scottish grandmother Scrooge heheSave save save!!0
