    Well done, make sure to set up a DD or SO for the extra money to be saved straight away, dont want to be spending some extra.

    Thanks. :) Will do. Don't worry though, I am used to having a decent current a/c balance so won't be tempted to spend the extra!! :D

    How much is your current account usually...having so much of a safety net in current account and savings you are doing fantastic.

  • I now keep at least £600 in my current account as i keep getting stung by hsbc £25 fines for being overdrawn!
