A Skoda Fabia! I wanted a little 3 door thing but it was £3695 for 03 reg with only 6000 miles on the clock. Approved dealer so 12 months warranty and haggled them into putting a cd player, rear parking sensor and full tank of fuel if I agreed today. Thought I'd have to go to £6000 to get a good car so I'm really pleased despite the ribbing I'll get from my mates!

    Hi All

I have returned after a little while off site. I now have £18,000 in savings but would really like to increase this i.e. double or triple this at least in one year!!!! :-) I am an adventurous and determined soul.

Any great saving, money making tips for me?

Well done to the last post by the way. Where I am in life, I would ideally like to have at least £50,000 in savings by now but working on it ;-).

I would understand if you were talking about a brilliant holiday or something. Not a phone. I measure quality of life by experiences, not possessions.

But that's just my opinion, everyone is different.
