Another £250 to my saving courtesy of payday. Not as much as previously but I enjoyed my 2 weeks off at easter and my mortgage went onto SVR so that now costs me £150 more.

How sad is that? Logging on to the bank account to transfer the excess into savings at this time in the morning?! :D

Despite only making half the surplus I'd predicted this month (thanks to having to replace my computer and buying mum's 65th birthday presents - via Quidco!) I have made it to 50% of my Rainy Day Fund. I now have three month's net wages saved.

    V. pleased.

There are very few 18/19 year olds who can say they've dealt with their debt and saved £5,000 and what's more, they have a plan to save more.

    Well done :T

I have done that many a time on payday! Would have done today but had a busy work day and was already there at 7.30. Now that's what I call sad:(

Not a bad month for savings for me in the end. £220 pounds saved towards my holiday from April temp agency overtime and my May salary was up from overtime at my regular job during March so another £140 towards the holiday and £80 in the savings for thing like puppy neutering :rotfl:and car insurance!

Not quite as sad as panicking at 00:10 as to why I hadn't been paid yet! _pale_
