I'm fed up. I've been surviving on 1200 calories a day for exactly a month now, and I have lost a grand total of one pound. What's the point?!?! I got so annoyed that I had to buy myself a burger for lunch to comfort eat, and I hadn't budgeted any money this month for lunches so that was very bad of me. Lucy this'll sound odd but perhaps you are having less calories than your body needs which actually causes it to hang on to fat stores - not explaining it very well but there is a weight loss thread on the "I wanna board" where thay explain much better why too few calories makes your body hang on to weight.0

Do more exercise? It's a much better way of losing weight than just eating less.0

Hi all, I'm up to 3175 now - feel pretty happy with that. I've also got a seperate savings account with my car registration and insurance money for the year already to pay out in July. On track for my goal next year (hopefully nothing expensive comes up!).
Keep it up everyone!Saving hard for Financial Independence0 -
Another £250 transferred to my regular saver, got one more payment on that (I think off to check on Friday) and then will move it back to my main savings account.0

Does anyone know if I can sign up for a halifax account (for the £5 per month) and set it up for my wages to go in there and still have my barclays account open?
I'm hoping they wont close this because my wages aren't going in.
It's just a current account
I don't want to ask them incase i offend haha, but i'd rather have £5 a month for nothing!0
