I have a loan to pay off but personal reasons mean im happier paying £48 a month min payment fee instead of overpaying...for now :)
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • Hi,

Recently just came out of my overdraft but now the things that I put off to come out of overdraft, eg replaced laptop cable, mobile phone.

Saving £50 a month towards an all expenses paid (exc spending) Holiday in July.

But on top of that I would like to start saving money towards a house, I am 20 years old an not earning a great deal £13k p/a. (I know im a long way off)

    commitments are
    Car 131 a month for 30 months
    Board 175
    Petrol 1100 a month.

Any Ideas as to what I can stick away!?
  • Assuming you mean 110 a month for petrol, you should be left with around £490 a month after outgoings. Aim for around £400 a month.

Looks like the battle for our ISA money is beginning. 3.5% sounds more like it :)
