thanks hostie, i can't stop feeling sick

I have never been overdrawn in my life, i'd like to think the bank would think of it like that, i saved a good amount !

Then all december £10,000 goes, surely they would wonder about that.

Not posted in here for a while so thought i should give a quick update.

Didn't quite hit my savings target originally set of £20k as I stopped early to buy a repo property that was too good to pass up, and I had just under £17k saved.

    Still quite pleased!

Oh and I sold some old gold rope (Gold Chain) and make a swift £1000 which is straight into savings again.

Starting back at the bottom as only have £2k saved now but it feels damn good!

    Happy New Year savings all!!

That happened to me about when i had saved £16,000 (my most yet previously i had saved £12,000) for my house and then bought it and went back to £0 in savings. It always feels a bit crap but then i remember i have my own house now which is great. :j I only just started saving again sometime last year and now am doing it again for my wedding. Helps to have a goal in sight.

I just want to cry right now.

I used to be like you, writting on here how much i saved each month.

I found a gambling site, joined and put my bank numbers on, and now all my money is gone:(

You may remember my last post here i saved £7500

Damn I feel for you, I've been on this thread since the 1st post and really care when I see something like this.

You are not the first person to fall from grace due to gambling, its horribly addictive but pointless in the long run. Just try to put it in perspective, people have lost a lot more money than you. Stay away, learn your lesson and start saving. Today is the start......

How about investing in some casino shares with your 1st 500 quid, its far more profitable than actually gambling :)

Oh and the feeling of reaching your first savings target is better than any rush from a gambling win, and it lasts.

  • hi everyone

just a quick 1 as i was going to start work early this morning but because the airport is shut they are keeping everyone at home for the time being.

dannii, i feel for you, i really do - but think of it like this,

    new year,
new start and by the end of it,
    new place.

you will get there but maybe just a little longer than you expected. everything happens for a reason.

    hostie

exactly like focus888 said i joined gambled £10, and after that, loads of transactions went out my account.

Its kind of hard to think of it as a new year new start.

For years my parents tell me what i can and can't do, once i payed of my car, i thought this time i need to make the effort and save to move out, i said to myself, my target was £10,000 and anything more is even better. I would have been at the £10,000 after this payday.

Am 21 and never had a boyfriend, the guy i liked my dad is like your not going near him, he just doesn't want me near guys, i spend most of my time in my room.

you'll get your money back dannii, the bank will need to do their investigations but shouldn't take long. once the bank realises that it wasn't you that took the money out of the account it will be back before you know it.
