So much for leading a simple life in retirement.... I can't settle to it either but I on,y have two weeks until I am back at work so probably won't buy a house that needs 72 things doing to it.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Somewhat traumatised by GG's 72 item to do list.
Retirement does settle down at some point, honest. My to do list is in single figures now (but I didn't move abroad and then move house!)Early retired - 18th December 2014
