    Saw a striped hawk moth on a path yesterday - looks like THIS - piccy on my phone came out a bit blurred but it was pretty groovy :T.

    Spent all day in bed - think I overdid it last two days :(. Mr GG & friend decluttered to golf
    putting-smiley-emoticon.gif .

    I've lost my reading glasses :eek:. Hopefully I left them in the bar last night but as I asked Mr GG to go in and get them and he didn't come back before going to golf I'm guessing they weren't there :(. Can't remember where I put my spares - they're not in the 'obvious' place, although I have a vague feeling I maybe put them in car with spare driving glasses. In the meantime I'm feeling very rock-star like with prescription sunglasses on indoors :cool:.

  • Are you feeling better?

    Maybe the glasses are on the new table but you can't see them due to wearing sunglasses indoors :rotfl:

    I put my glasses on after my shower the other day and the arm fell off - I am now sporting a large dollop of superglooooo as a temporary fix :o
    That was the arm of my glasses not my arm :rotfl:

    I wear my glasses all the time, so I haven't mislaid them ..... Yet.

    But I'm always mislaying other things. I only notice when I go to the place where it normally lives and it's not there. I then have to retrace my steps for the whole day until I find it.

    :D Funnily enough last night our friend was looking for his glasses before we went out - and they WERE on his head :rotfl:.

    A bit better and glasses are returned to me :T.

    It was RAINING today :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

    Nature Notes:
    - Who knew you could hear bats? I heard some this morning, a low pitched clicking, turns out you can hear the communication sounds but not the echo location ones :T.
    - Noisy Little Egret yesterday, drawing attention to himself, only about 10ft away :j. Took a piccy but only on phone so not that great. IMG_0642.jpg
    - Around 50 Little Egrets on a roof earlier :D.

    Was getting stressed about move and what needs to be done before we move in so started a spreadsheet - feeling more in control now :D. List currently covers three terraces and five out of fourteen rooms (including bathrooms and storage so not that big a place!). Up to 72 items so far :eek::eek::eek:.
