But … this is the MFW board, surely GG goes as a mummy, wrapped in a roll or two of loo roll?! Am sure there was a recent stockup AND it would be a little less to move to the new house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Very exciting to see lists and spreadsheets back in action … 3 terraces?! Definitely plenty room for you to give live MFW classes by the sea, GG? Does this mean the technical hitches around you crazy foreign buyers are resolved and it's all going ahead … what is timing looking like … or is it just 'mañana'? :):)

If you want to do Nightmare on Elm Street, you could attempt to recreate the the scene where Johnny Depp gets eaten by the bed.

I'm a bit of a Johnny Depp fan, and that's one of my favourite scenes

Thought of that Hollybol but we walk to the village (around 20-25 minutes) and there is rain forecast for this week so could be a bit of a damp mess by the time we arrive :rotfl:.

House now recorded correctly everywhere - apart from the mistake we noticed of course :wall:. Waiting to hear from solicitors if they think it's important, I suspect not. So should be all systems go in next two weeks  :T:j:beer:. We will be transferring the funds over Monday probably, and as the pound has strengthened again then the delay has saved us a few thousand pounds :T. Can't come soon enough - list now up to 108 items to be done before we move  - ranging from simple 'clean windows' - accounts for 12 entries as will be doing full room by room instead of same job in each room - to 'move furniture to apartment or sell' - so a big range of tasks. Only a few jobs to be done outside before we move - mainly simple stuff such as check sockets etc, but I suspect I'll do a bit of pruning/clearing/sweeping when bored with inside.

Ah well you see GG, I've never actually seen any of them as too scared :rotfl:.

Ah yes, mummy wouldn't work unless you wrapped outside the door …

Fantastic news on the house - and even better that the delay worked for you in exchange rates … bet you never thought at the start of 2015 that you'd end it in a new house by the sea in Spain?!

Do you do your lists on excel (and if so why, is it for the tabs?) or do you use something else? :)

You're right Hollyboll, you never know what's in store :).

Lists are on excel, so I can sort easily. Also I've done a conditional format (to keep my hand in ;)) to turn a cell a pretty red pattern if I put an X in the Must Do column :D. Yup, too much time on my hands :rotfl:.

Oh my word, I've done lists on excel (and genealogy trees) but never a cell turning a pretty colour :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I like the sound of that.

And loving that your house purchase is really going ahead :j

    Nature Notes:
Hunters out in van with dogs in trailer - three massive wild boar carcasses on roof

OMG I was in some woods near me earlier this year and saw a game cart full of pheasants, which was weird enough, but boar! Eek!

Am left wondering how close the boar come to the villages ....

Eek indeed - although better as carcasses (when I first read it quickly I thought GG was out in van with boars coming at the roof!) …
Are boars tasty / a local delicacy?
